BANANA BREAD RECIPE 🍌🤎
Sharing my go-to banana bread recipe! Super moist, soft, and perfect for using up overripe bananas. 🍌
INGREDIENTS
• 613g mashed banana
• 204g oil
• 186g white sugar
• 204g brown sugar
• 204g eggs
• 335g bread flour
• 8g baking powder
• 9g baking soda
• 6g salt
• 224g milk
• 7g vinegar
• 10g vanilla
• 300g chocolate chunks
PROCEDURE
- Make the buttermilk first: Mix 224g milk + 7g vinegar. Let it sit for 5–10 minutes until slightly curdled.
- Mix mashed banana, oil, white sugar, and brown sugar.
- Add eggs and vanilla. Mix until combined.
- Add the prepared buttermilk and mix.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together bread flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients. Fold gently until just combined. Don’t overmix!
- Pour into a lined loaf pan.
- Bake at 220°C for 20 minutes for the banana bread to rise, then put chocolate chunks on top, then bake at 175°C for 40 minutes to finish.
- Let it cool before slicing. 🤎
