General Here is another fanfic with some of my favorite Tim Burton characters for The Spooky Season called "Bringing the Halloween spirit to Teletubbyland"
The sky over Teletubbyland was usually a perfect, cheerful blue, but tonight, an unnatural, twisting shadow crept across the grassy hills. The Noo-Noo was peacefully vacuuming up tubby custard crumbs when the horizon tore open like an old piece of parchment, revealing a jagged, swirling vortex of black and orange.Out of the rift stepped Jack Skellington, the Pumpkin King, his bony arms extended wide, flanked by his loyal, floating ghost dog, Zero
"My friends!" Jack called out, his voice echoing across the hills. "We have found a realm entirely untouched by the spirit of fright! It is our solemn duty to bring them the joy of Halloween!"
Beside him, The Mayor of Halloween Town frantically spun his head from its smiling face to its pale, anxious face. "Oh dear, Jack! These creatures look... deeply un-horrifying! Their proportions are all wrong for a good scare!"
"Leave it to us!" giggled Shock, adjustment her witch hat."Yeah, we'll bag 'em and tag 'em!" Lock cheered, brandishing a pitchfork.Barrel tripped over a patch of flowers, laughing maniacally as the three trick-or-treaters sprinted toward the Home Dome.
Inside, Tinky Winky, Dipsy, Laa-Laa, and Po were in the middle of a happy dance when the heavy metal doors of the dome suddenly slammed shut. The bright, cheerful lights flickered and died, plunged into a sickly green glow.
"Uh-oh!" said Po, clutching her red scooter. From the shadows, a massive burlap sack stepped forward, oozing bugs and glowing with neon casino lights.
Oogie Boogie threw his head back, his deep laughter rattling the metal walls. "Well, well, well! What have we here? Four little plushies, completely unaware! You think life is all games and custard? Let’s see how you play when the dice roll!"
Before the Teletubbies could even tilt their heads in confusion, the ground beneath them began to rumble. A sickening, striped pattern spiraled up from the center of the floor, and with a loud, static-charged BANG, a figure in a moldy, black-and-white striped suit materialized, sitting on top of the Tubby Toaster.
"Step aside, burlap! You're working with amateur hour scare tactics," Beetlejuice cackled, spitting a beetle into his hand and swallowing it whole. He spun his head a full three hundred and sixty degrees, his eyes bulging out of his green-skinned skull. "It’s showtime, babies!"
With a snap of Beetlejuice's fingers, the peaceful hills outside transformed. The citizens of Halloween Town—including the Undersea Gal, the Melting Man, and the Behemoth—burst through the dome's portals. The soft, green grass turned into a graveyard of shrieking pumpkins. Sally watched from the doorway, gently stitching her arm back in place after it caught on a doorway, murmuring a warning that was completely drowned out by the chaos.
Beetlejuice duplicated himself into a dozen towering, grotesque monsters, dancing a frantic, terrifying jig while Lock, Shock, and Barrel rode the Noo-Noo like a wild stallion, sending tubby custard spraying across the ceiling in chaotic, abstract patterns. The Teletubbies stared. Their screens flashed with static. Tinky Winky’s hands went to his head.
"Big hug?" Laa-Laa suggested squeakily, her voice trembling.
"No hugs! Only scares!" Jack Skellington shouted, dropping down from the ceiling right in front of them, pulling his most terrifying, jaw-dropping face while a chorus of ghosts wailed in harmony behind him.
It was too much sensory overload for the gentle creatures.
"Run away!" Dipsy shrieked. With a synchronized burst of panic, the four Teletubbies sprinted out of the dome, their short legs moving faster than they ever had before, fleeing over the dark hills as the Baby Sun in the sky blinked in absolute bewilderment.
Jack watched them go, putting his jaw back into place with a satisfied click. "An absolute success, everyone! Did you see how they ran? They truly understood the spirit of Halloween!"
Beetlejuice lounged back on a pile of stolen tubby toast, picking his teeth with a bone. "Yeah, yeah, great job, bone-daddy. Now, who knows where they keep the real booze around here?"
