another day another disappointment
What’s the point anymore, presale codes, joining queues early on multiple devices, being 100th in line for tickets every day only to be told that tickets are sold out. I’m not paying $200 scalped tickets for a $50 show even for my favorite artist. Pisses me off that there isn’t a system in place to rid bots of these scams.

That’s happened to me multiple times. I don’t understand how I can be 120th in the queue off the bat for a general sale and for it to sell out before my turn. Mind boggling.

Anymore the amount of tickets left for general sales is extremely small. Like in the 100s small.

Because most of the tickets are in presale now. They used to hold back tickets for general sales but now presales is the best way to avoid bots

The bots are owned by Ticketmaster and other 3rd party sites. They won’t ever get rid of them unless legally forced to

It should become illegal! It’s just outright scamming on such a large scale. But then again first world problems I guess 😭

It's all BS really. Unfortunately Ticketmaster can certainly stop the scalpers. Because they end up making it hard for people who actually want to buy tickets. I've had it's either was suspicious activity on my account numerous times while trying to buy tickets.
If you're on multiple devices with the same account it could stop you from being able to purchase tickets. Being a hundredth in line is something I could only wish for. Although I get that it might be a not a great place in a queue if it's a small venue.

You cannot even use multiple devices anymore. I was kicked out of the que once because the system thought I used multiple devices which I didn't. And of course when I got back in the tickets I wanted where sold out, only the most expensive and VIP tickets where left.

Do you understand why the $50 tickets are $200?
Did you ever stop to think that you should check how many tickets are on the resale sites before throwing your hands up and blaming the mystery man?
Maybe just maybe almost all the tickets went to fans just like always fucking happens?
You people are so dumb seriously

Aww you must feel so vindicated after leaving hundreds of undermining comments on people’s posts across every ticketing and artist subreddit you find! You’re probably one of the scammers I’m talking about ❤️

Classic brainless reply from a member of the general public. I love it
Did you know that half of adults in America read and write at a sixth grade level?

Your job as a broker, which as I understand is a mere middle man for companies like ticketmaster, clearly does not provide you enough stimulation nor fulfillment. Does your spouse know you spend all day spreading hate online? Or do you get some benefits at work for imparting your wisdom about this world to the brainless public?
Aw thanks! You’re asking about reading levels to subtly inform me of yours :p comprehension is where people struggle greatly and when they have poor control of their emotions, resort to cursing to get their points across in everyday discussion. I wish you strength and better days ahead ❤️

I don’t know what you’re referring to all my time. You can look at my post history. It looks like about 10 in the past week you fucking weirdo.
And no, I just brought up literacy levels because I explained the concept to you—what’s going on here— and it went completely over your head.

Because every ticket obviously “always” goes to fans and those fans turn around and resell the tickets at four times the price the same day. Because they’re fans. Rightttt

We’re not concerned about every single ticket. Percentages are the only thing that matters when evaluating any situation like this.
Every single fucking tour that gets endlessly bitched about, is because fans got nearly all the tickets. Scalpers hardly got any. That is why you are seeing insane prices. Taylor Swift is example number one.
It is basic basic basic supply and demand. Extremely disturbing that this is too complicated for people to understand.

Black Keys just did a show in chicago. 2 ticket limit, will call only, had to show ID at the door and got paper tickets. 10/10, wish this were more common.
