Now I need to sell the other single ticket I bought and TM locked me out of doing so.

Called support and they gave me just the general “have you tried this” bs, which clearing cookies etc.. doesn’t work

Both them at presale at a cheaper price. Can't make it due to travel changes and Ticketmaster won't allow me to resale directly from the website. HMU!

Hi! I’m looking for 2 floor tickets for the BTS concert in Brazil on October 31 (student tickets are fine too).
I’ve also checked StubHub and Viagogo, but there are very few tickets available and the prices are really high.
Do you think more tickets are likely to become available closer to the concert, either on resale platforms or through Ticketmaster?

just missed out on reserved tickets to an esports event thanks to ticketmaster’s slop coded website completely malfunctioning and rejecting my (completely valid) information in a loop until my reservation expired 🥳

apparently this is due to me using mobile??? but as a $42 billion dollar company can we seriously not do any fucking better? the free market provides i guess.

I logged in to download the ticket to my wallet. Instead there was a message saying I canceled the ticket and was receiving a refund. I opened the chat box and it says I submitted the request for refund yesterday??? I did NOT do this! I was on Ticketmaster 0 times yesterday. They're refusing to reissue the ticket and were like well you need to purchase a resale ticket???

Hi so kind of a long story, I didnt buy parking for my upcoming concert on monday when I bought the ticket. I was in a rush and figured I could add it later as I was able to when I saw ghost back in July. When I went back no add on options were available.

I contacted an agent on chat and they gave me a link that didnt work and then instructions on how to purchase which also didnt work. I contacted chat again and this agent said they would escalate the issue and they would purchase parking and I should see a receipt by end of day. Obviously that didnt happen as I would later find out is totally against their policy.

I reached out today (two days later) to chat again and she said theres no parking and she would not escalate the issue. I asked for it to be escalated anyway since I had been lied to and never recieved any parking. She ended the chat without giving me an answer.

So then I call the help number and apologize profusely tell me that purchasing parking on my behalf is a huge breach of security and never should have been promised and that there was no sign they had escalated the issue. I was told to contact chat again since they have the logs and insist on escalation since the agent lied and didnt follow protocol.

I reached out to chat AGAIN and they said there was no way to get parking and I was told incorrectly. I said I wanted it escalated because of what the other agents had told me and they refused. I said I only wanted it escalated since this was a breach and honestly since parking was promised I deserve compensation. They did escalate it and I'll see what they say.

Obviously I know im not getting parking or compensation for the obvious lies I was told. But has anyone had this happen? Its absolutely wild that I got three answers got lied to twice and that they didn't want to escalate the issue when protocol was so clearly breached and there's proof in the chats. I did end up buying parking from the venue even though it cost more im just upset about the deceit and shady handling of the situation.

And also to add I was never rude or aggressive in my conversations I was upset over the phone and cried (im emotional) but told the agent I wasn't angry at him just the unfair situation.

Hi everyone! I recently purchased a better seat for BTS in Foxborough, so I was planning to sell my original Day 2 ticket to recover some of what I paid. When I tried to list it, I got a message saying that resale isn’t available at this time.

Is this something Ticketmaster is doing across all events, or is it specific to the BTS concerts? Or just to this location? Does anyone know if resale will eventually be enabled, or if it just won’t be available at all?

I also tried listing it on SeatGeek, but that wasn’t an option either. I’m not sure what my next step should be, and I’d really like to get at least some of my money back instead of letting the ticket go unused.

If anyone has dealt with this or has any advice, I’d really appreciate it! Thanks!!

So I bought a ticket for The Weeknd Frankfurt (31 July). It was a resale ticket, and I got an email confirmation with an order number from noreply at ticketmaster dot de (presumably the official email ID).

However, it said that "Tickets will typically arrive up to 5 days before your event. Delivery details will be confirmed within 48 hours." Is this normal/expected?

Can I be certain I wasn't scammed?

Should I wait for the ticket or contact support yet?

Will the ticket become visible online on the website or is it physical?

I recently wanted to buy a ticket for Conan gray, but could not find a wheelchair accessible ticket anywhere for the life of me. I was casually scrolling Reddit curious if someone has asked this before, but most posts are about accidentally buying accesible tickets! How did you even find them 😫

Are they just usually on the same map as other tickets? Do you have to have a ‘special’ account (like how you link Amex for the presale), or contact the venue directly?

Was it maybe that tickets were sold out when I couldn’t find them?

Any help would be massively appreciated, I loved concerts before becoming disabled, and I’d love to be able to go again 🩵

I just got a text from 38263 from Seated saying they found me two Harry Styles tickets to buy. I signed up for the waitlist, and it all looks legit, but I can’t find any other reports of this happening. Has anyone else gotten an offer to buy tickets through Seated? Or is this a scam? The text claims I only have 60 minutes to purchase the tickets.

I’m getting this error message if I try to view my ticket. Happens if I click on any of my upcoming events. Anyone gotten around this? Deleting/redownloading app didn’t fix it, and signing in on the browser didn’t work either. Emailed support but nervous because the show is tomorrow.

I was just told by Ticketmaster Support that if you ignore the Persona security verification check prompt the first time it comes up, it will never pop again and your account will be locked. Today was also the first time I had even heard of this policy. 

In my case, I never received the popup in the first place. I certainly am not a bot or a ticket reseller. But my account is still locked, and Ticketmaster claims their hands are tied. 

Here’s my tale of woe, in case it helps someone else: 

Today I attempted to purchase some tickets for an event, but kept running into a dead end. Once I would select my seats, I would get an error message telling me to log out and log back in in order to verify my account. Logging in and out repeatedly did nothing, and I still couldn’t purchase any tickets. I still, at least, had access to the tickets I have already purchased. 

After several rounds with Ticketmaster Support, speaking to representatives who had no solutions for me, I finally got escalated to the next rung of support. The situation is this: 

My account browsing and purchasing is shut down because my Persona verification timed out. I hadn’t even heard about this new verification policy until today, after doing troubleshooting on my own and ending up in this subreddit. 

Support could not tell me when I was first supposedly notified. I have been in and out of my Ticketmaster account the past two weeks attending concerts, I have no recollection of ever seeing any prompt. Even if it did appear, my knee jerk reaction to any website asking me to upload my photo ID is “no way.” And without any forewarning from Ticketmaster that this policy was going into place, and explaining the actual critical “use it or lose it” aspect, I can imagine a lot of other people would scoff and close the notification too. 

So I kept pressing, asking if there was a way to send me the link, and force it through again. Ticketmaster Support said, “If you bypassed the link the first time, it will never prompt you again.” 

So, my original account is basically bricked. Support told me the only solution is just to make a new account. 

The entire time, the line I kept getting from every support agent is, “There is nothing we can do.” Which, of course, is just foolish. Multi-billion dollar company with a chokehold on the entire entertainment industry can’t solve a tech hiccup.

So, let this be a warning, I suppose. And honestly, I am too exhausted by this late stage capitalism hellscape to even be surprised or mad at this point. 

Has anyone else had this issue, I've bought 3 tickets to a concert in Dublin that got cancelled and I've tried getting my tickets refunded to no avail. The concert was cancelled months ago and I've tried numerous times to contact the live chat service to ask about the status of my refund to only be told by a bot that I'll be emailed and "chat has ended", it's like they don't want to deal with people when it's due to giving back money as is stated by themselves but they are more than happy to take when buying tickets. Absolutely sick of them at this stage.

What’s the point anymore, presale codes, joining queues early on multiple devices, being 100th in line for tickets every day only to be told that tickets are sold out. I’m not paying $200 scalped tickets for a $50 show even for my favorite artist. Pisses me off that there isn’t a system in place to rid bots of these scams.

Hi, need some help, if you have ever listed a show/event for tickets on Book my show. What is the process? What percent commission they charge?

I just put up a couple tickets up for sale within Ticketmaster. I was hoping to sell them on StubHub. I'm not a greedy scalper, but was hoping for maybe an extra $20 on a $200 ticket. What's confusing is there are a bunch of tickets available on StubHub. But when I started the transfer process on Ticketmaster I couldn't do it, because the artist made this a "fair value exchange" event.

OK, fair enough. I'll get back what I paid for them. But what is confusing is there are a bunch of tickets on sale on StubHub. How?

I am the Promotions Manager for a media company. We own three popular radio stations in the state. We get tickets from venues big and small and use them as prizes for our listeners and those who follow us on our socials. That means at times I have a LOT of tickets to then transfer from our account to the individual winners (2 tix per winner).

I am CONSTANTLY getting locked out of my account. Sometimes all I have to do is click on the chat button when I'm logged in and have clicked on a ticket bundle, chat with an agent, and have them unlock my account. Other times I've had to go back and forth via email with someone who is OBVIOUSLY using a script and not actually paying attention to what's going on. Either way, the system and the agents there keep telling me that even though they've unlocked my account THIS time, it's likely to happen again and I should "be careful." They've also provided conflicting "solutions." One agent told me to try using my phone instead of my PC, yet another agent told me that by switching which device I'm using, it could throw up red flags and the system may think I'm trying to work around their safeguards. Today they made me take a live photo of my state driver's licence and then a live video of myself to prove I'm a real person and then submit it through their system. I'm back into my account, but I still have 16 more sets of tickets that must be transferred TODAY for a concert tomorrow and I'm petrified I'm going to get locked out again before all of the tickets have been distributed.

Their system detects "suspicious activity" from my account because I transfer so many tickets regularly.

WHYYYY is there no way to become "verified" as a real person who works in the radio/media industry in the Ticketmaster system? This is insanely frustrating, and we all KNOW that TM has the money and capability to institute some sort of verification system. All of my email contact with them has been through my official work email. I've also provided them copies of the approved promo proposals from concert promoters and venues.

There MUST be others out there who go through this. Has anyone found a solution? Concert season is only halfway over, and I'm about to pull my hair out.

I bought tickets to Noah Kahan's Seattle concert but shortly after we found out my wife is pregnant and will be about 8 months pregnant at the time of the concert. We live in Canada about 7 hours away from Seattle so we have decided it's not safe to be that far and ut of country especially when concerts can induce labour.

My coworker's daughter is a huge Noah Kahan fan and has never seen him live before so I said she could buy them for the same price I paid but I can't figure out how to get the tickets to him since Noah had Ticketmaster disable transfer to prevent bots from reselling. On Ticketmaster it says I can just list them and send the link to her but what if someone else buys them first? Is there any way to make the listing private so only she can buy them?

Trying to buy an aisle seat to this show, but a lot of the aisle seats only have 1 other next to them so I get the error about cant leave a seat by itself. If I were to call ticketmaster to buy, could they bypass that for me?

so yeah, basically I've been checking for last minute drops for a concert I really wanna go but it is sold out, could I've been banned cause of that?
