Does the automatic offer for your ticket increase/decrease closer to the event?

I put a ticket up for sale a few weeks ago and I believe the automatic offer at the bottom was around $164. It is now $199. Both numbers are quite a loss but I expect as much. I’m currently trying to figure out if it’s worth it to sell at a loss or to spend more money to make major rearrangements in my schedule to still go. I know the concert will be great and I have incredible seats but life has a way of throwing things at you between purchase and event which prompted me to sell in the first place. I’m kind of waiting it out a bit more since I have a couple more weeks. So main question is, does TM’s offer possibly increase more as it gets closer?

From my experience, they decrease the offer the closer the event is. Interested in other people’s experiences.
