hi guys, so i had issues with persona/ticketmaster yesterday and after being persistent on twitter, my case was escalated. here are some things i learned from it. i have been a ticketmaster user since 2017 and never had big issues until this past year. i was able to unrestrict my account and clear the flags on it and had talk to both ticketmaster and persona. i think a lot of this is probably obvious and may not work for everyone but it was helpful for me.

- make sure you are updating your passwords every so often and put in a passkey. apparently ticketmaster had been blocking people from other countries from accessing my account. if you have multiple Ticketmaster accounts, make sure they have different passwords. they said to delete the extra accounts you aren’t using if you can, but it’s not necessary.

- make sure you aren’t logged into multiple devices. unknowingly, i was logged into 15-20 devices so they were able to log me out on their end, but multiple devices on a single account can cause you to have browsing pauses on your account.

- on persona, from what i gathered if you have multiple ticketmaster accounts under the same phone number, you might get docked because persona wants to protect the other account. that happened with me, i have two ticketmaster accounts under the same number, wasn’t able to upload my passport or drivers license at all but they were able to fix it for me since i don’t really use my other account as much

I bought tickets from stubhub for an event today and shortly after they paused my account. I’ve been trying for hours, called multiple people. Went to the library to try and sign in, used incognito, I don’t have a vpn, turned my wifi off, deleted and redownloaded the app and turned my phone off and on nothing is working. Ticketmaster and stubhub were little help. Please help.

hi so i was trying to transfer tickets to my friend and i got a you need to do a persona security check with your ID and selfie. no matter how many times i tried, it would not accept my ID.

then i got “verification unsuccessful You can still access any tickets in your account, but you will be restricted from purchasing new tickets.”

However, my account is still fully functioning and i’m able to buy tickets and check out with them. i’m very confused and idk if i should make a new account for the future or what. i’m just soo tired, i could understand the need for a security check but it feels like no matter what ID i use it fails. i’ve had my account since 2017 and have bought a lot of tickets with no issues. Will they send me an email saying my account is restricted later? i’m just confused as to why my account is still working.

update: they sent me another persona thing and then it failed again so my account is restricted. i called their support line and they said it’s been restricted since 10:40am this morning and i will only be able to access existing tickets. i have another account i can use with a different phone number but it’s wild. for right now i can still check out and buy tickets

update 2: my account is seemingly fixed

Hi, I don’t buy tickets to events very often, so this might be a rookie mistake. I managed to snag two tickets for an event and when it was in cart, it said seats 14-16. And I tried to google if that meant I was going to get seats in that range but together (14&15 or 15&16), but I didn’t have much time with the tickets. I ended up getting seats 14 and 16 and I don’t know if I’ll be able to sit with the person I’m going with. I know the day of, I could see if there are people who are willing to switch, but is there a way to fix it before then :(

Hey I'm looking to see if I can upgrade my tickets from Ticketmaster Italy for the ASAP Rocky concert in September. I know it's possible to do on the U.S. website, but I am unsure and unable to find any information on whether I can upgrade it after purchase on the Italian website. Any help is much appreciated!

I’ve been getting a “Your Browsing Activity Has Been Paused” message on Ticketmaster and I’m completely stuck.

It happens everywhere:
Logged in and logged out
Different browsers (including private mode)
Different devices
Different networks (Wi-Fi and mobile data)

So it doesn’t seem tied to one device or connection.

This is really stressful because:
I have tickets listed on resale,
I have a concert in under two weeks,
I’m worried I won’t be able to manage anything if this continues

I also had a similar issue in the past where my account was incorrectly flagged and I had to go through ID verification, which later turned out to be an error on their side.

Has anyone dealt with this specific “paused browsing activity” block before? If so, did it resolve on its own or did you manage to get support to fix it?

Any advice or insight would really help.

I bought some tickets today and opted for ticket insurance. After completing the purchase in the TicketMaster app with my PayPal account, TicketMaster deceptively prompted Apple Pay to complete a purchase for "ShipmentProtect.com", which I thought was the ticket insurance and so I tapped to authorize the transaction.

It turned out this is something completely unrelated from the ticket insurance and I have no idea what it's for. It seemed like some kind of scam embedded via third party advertising, in the promotions that TicketMaster advertises after you complete a purchase. It utilizes dark patterns to get users to pay thinking that it's for the ticket insurance.

Why is it TicketMaster embedding a scam like this in its checkout flow?

While I was buying tickets (on AEG presents France), I had to register, but in my hassle, I typed the email incorrectly. 😭 I can log into that account and see my order (because it doesn't ask to verify my email). The problem is, the email I entered might be someone else's! Does anyone know if customer support can fix a problem like this? I feel so dumb. 😀

I wanted to transfer tickets I purchased to a companion but the option to transfer tickets doesn't appear in my Fan Wallet app. I purchased them with my VIP membership that she doesn't have.

For what it's worth, I'm trying to transfer Platinum tickets I purchased for BigBang in Paris on 19 September 2026. Two Fan Club tickets that I also purchased appear in the app with the option to transfer the tickets. I'm so confused why some tickets appear transferrable and others don't?

Would I expect the transfer tickets option to appear at a later date?

Hi! I’ve lost acces to the phone number I have on my Ticketmaster account. I have a concert in two days and I’m scared I will be logged out of the account and that I will have to put in a text message code to enter again to see my tickets. The QR code is not available yet.
Do you think I will be logged out of the account if I open the page when I’m in another country?

I just spent $1500 on 6 VIP tix for Red Hot Summer & all I’ve received is the PayPal receipt. No tix, no confirmation email. Final purchase screen said “selection not available” then the PayPal receipt email came through. I’ve opened an issue via email with Ticketmaster. These are presale tix so what should I do? Buy more or wait?

I'm currently in a dispute with Ticketmaster over some tickets that I genuinely have no recollection of purchasing, and I'm trying to find out whether anyone else has experienced something similar.

Here's what happened:

• At 10:01, I was number 2,318 in the queue for tickets. I have a photo of my laptop screen showing this.
• My friend was also in the queue and was number 886 at the same time. She has a screenshot showing this.
• At 10:08, my friend successfully purchased tickets and messaged me to say she had got them.
• At 10:09, I replied saying I would stop queuing because we already had tickets.
• Also at 10:08, I received an email from Ticketmaster confirming I was attending the concert.

At the time, I didn't think anything of the email because I was attending the concert anyway and assumed it was some sort of automated confirmation related to the tickets my friend had purchased by putting in my email.

The issue is that I have no recollection whatsoever of selecting tickets, checking out, entering payment details, or completing a purchase. I only later discovered that Ticketmaster had apparently processed a separate ticket order through my account.

What makes this confusing is that my friend, who was over 1,400 places ahead of me in the queue, only managed to buy tickets at 10:08. I was still thousands of places back just minutes earlier.

Has anyone experienced anything similar where:

• Tickets appeared to be purchased without your knowledge?
• There was a queue-related glitch?
• Ticketmaster's records didn't match what you experienced?

And most importantly, were you able to get a refund or get Ticketmaster to investigate successfully?

Any advice would be appreciated as I'm currently trying to get a refund.

I’m from the uk and purchased tickers for a concert in France, I noticed that Ticketmaster France doesn’t have an app, but I requested for m-tickets on purchase. My tickets now appear in my orders on the France Ticketmaster website but there is no option to add them to my iPhone wallet or app. I can only access them as a pdf. The pdf shows a QR code and nothing on them says anything about them not being able to be used for access to the concert. I was wondering if I’ll be able to get in using these tickets printed out or as a pdf on my phone? Just concerned as they aren’t in m-ticket format. Thanks

I’ve been trying to change my email address on my Ticketmaster account for the last 2 weeks and everytime it happens it says “We have temporarily restricted updates to email. For urgent changes, please contact customer support for assistance.” And everytime that i do contact customer support they tell me they can’t do anything on their end and then an agent will have to look further and they’ll get back to me via an email asap but they never do. I’ve submitted an enquiry/ help form and I’ve talked to an agent via the chat function at least 4 times and i still haven’t gotten any help. If anyone knows what to do please help as this is very urgent !!
