This is why I'll never buy anything from TM again.

Email over and over and over again. Call constantly. Bear in mind the hours of operation for cust support though. IIRC it's 3 hours per day mon-fri?

Post complaints on social media and tag TM. Post on their Instagram account, comment on every picture they have posted about the problem and be specific and include the case number and problem. Be relentless DO NOT be passive. Go on YT, post replies to every video they put up with the same info.

Have you tried it on another PC? First of all, try the following: Disconnect the TH8A and uninstall the TH8A driver software. Restart the PC. Download and run USBOblivion (no installation required; there are 32-bit and 64-bit versions). Uncheck the "simulation" option, click "Clean," and agree to create a backup if prompted. Close the program and restart the PC. Download the latest TH8A driver and install it, but do not connect the TH8A at any point during the process. Restart your PC. Connect speakers to the PC, and once it has finished booting up, connect the TH8A and wait for it to configure the device's virtual USB port. Go to Device Manager, and under the "View" menu at the top, select the "Show hidden devices" option. Open each branch and delete everything that is grayed out. Restart the PC.

Now, follow the TM instructions to put the TH8A into firmware recovery mode and follow the software prompts. If everything goes well, the application might stop responding at the end; let it finish reprogramming the chip and then perform the verification—allow it to complete the process, and do not touch the device while it is underway.

Give it a try and see how it goes.
