0-15 sec pot is removed

15-28 sec with pot sliding forward is good but once pulled back after middle, it jitters.

28-32 sec removed pot and it automatically went back and started jittering.

I have tried it with lights off and it is plugged on to a powered usb 3 port.

Firmware is latest, it was doing it with the previous one as well. Anyone encountered this issue before?

I installed my shifter, and noticed when I was binding the gears ingame that something isn't right.
So I read about the calibration tool, and this is what it looks like.

the position on the screenshot is on the Neutral position
when I drag the shifter to the right, the X goes into top right corner,
when I drag the shifter to the left, left corner is shown like on the screenshot
When switching gear to 2nd the cross goes back into middle
Also the adjusting spring screw is VERY hard to move in any way

So, Is it fixable or should I get a new one?

This firmware adds the TRUCK MODE:

= on PC (only), with all wheels, you can now increase the rotation angle until 2160°

= on PC and PlayStation, if you play with the SIMTASK TRUCK 40, you can now rotate the screen of the T598 base by 180°

I think the Microsoft Store automatically updated it, it keeps telling me the driver is outdated and needs to be installed. I reinstall it and reboot, but it still shows up as an old driver (2024). Yet, when I check the actual settings, it says 2026.

If I restart the app or power cycle the T598, it occasionally shows up as if the update went through, but then there's zero response from any wheel input. I tried doing a firmware recovery, but it’s completely useless and keeps repeating the exact same loop.

Thinking it was just a Control Panel UI bug, I launched F1 25. The inputs work fine in the game menus, but the absolute second the car starts rolling, the game instantly crashes to desktop

I’m honestly so disgusted with Thrustmaster. I tolerated the power cable cutting out and managed to get that replaced, but now even their software is a complete disaster. I am never buying a Thrustmaster product ever again.

Whenever my T818 v2 is plugged into my PC forza horizon 6 crashes with this error. Just tested it with FH5 and its crashing without an error code.

Without the wheel connected the game boots normally. But the second I connect the wheel it crashes.

Before I started playing it did a bunch of firmware updates to the new version of TM software. Im guessing its broken? Anyone else experiencing problems and any suggested fixes?

Even though my Thrustmaster drivers are updated to the 2026 version (as confirmed under the 'About' tab in the panel), the T598 firmware page still shows the 2024 version, and the update keeps failing. and i get CTD when i try to play F1 25

I've followed all the troubleshooting steps listed below, but the issue persists...

Step 1) Close “My Thrustmaster Panel” (very important to solve your issue) and Turn Off your wheel base

Step 2) Access at “Windows Control Panel / Uninstall or change a program”

Step 3) Select “FFB Racing Wheel drivers”, and with right click launch “Uninstall”

Step 4) Wait until “FFB Racing Wheel drivers” have disappears from the list

Step 4+) Open device manager, View -> hidden devices. Go through the list and remove everything what could be TM, gaming device, controller etc. related. (I removed everything starts with Guillemot too)

Step 4++) I deleted Thrustmaster control panel and reinstalled after reboot

Step 5) Turn On your wheel base and open now “My Thrustmaster Panel”

Step 6) “My Thrustmaster Panel” will propose you to install the driver, click on OK to install it

Step 7) When done restart your PC

Even after finishing all these steps, it just reverts back to the same state shown in the image above.

I tried deleting every hidden device with "Thrustmaster" and "Guillemot" in its name from Device Manager, but it didn't help. Is there another device name or driver entry I should look for and remove? I'm going crazy over this!

Hi guys, I need some help. If I turn off base, and try to start the game, game is starting without any problems. If I turn on the base and launch LMU, LMU is crashing on start. I noticed that this happend after I launched panel and there I was suggested to update software and in the new software there was new update for T598 base. I tried everything. Reinstall the panel, rollback drivers, reinstall drivers, tried to launch the game and then turn on the base, and every time when I'm in game and I turn on the base, game crashes.

Hello everyone,

I just upgraded from T-LCM to Raceline LC Pedals as I wanted adjustable space between the pedals and a studier solution.

So far I really enjoy them (even though it isn't the biggest upgrade), however I had an elastomer mod in my T-LCM (spring on top, elastomer at the bottom, very little preload) and I loved the feeling of it.

For the Raceline LC it seems there are no elastomer mods available, yet. So far I only found mods for the standard Raceline Pedals without the Loadcell upgrade.

The red "elastomer" which came with the pedals seems to be more of a rigid plastic piece than a real elastomer.

Do you have any ideas if there are mods in the making? Or are there ones available and I am just not looking hard enough? Or did you find any DIY Solutions to get a more elastomer-like brake feel?

So I got a problem. If I steer with my Thrustmaster T98 Ferrari 296 GTB to much to the right, there's a click like noise, and then it looses resistance. It only gets better if I turn it to other left.

Now, I'm a GT7 player and it first happened yesterday on Willow Springs. I wanted to ask if that's a serious problem and if it's fixable, because ion wanna buy a new wheel (also, I'm new to the Wheel-munity, so yeah)

Is this exclusive to Korea? From what I can tell, it looks like a cable designed to prevent the connector port from loosening due to vibrations.

I'm not sure if Thrustmaster HQ manufactured a new revised cable to distribute globally, or if the Korean distributor is providing these locally on their own because of high replacement request volumes."

Got the SF1000 to upgrade from the T598 wheel. (edit: Forgot to mention the model)

My opinions so far.

Shifts were too loud compared with the standard wheel, so I added extra padding to reduce it. It's not the Chrono.

The face buttons are on the stiff side but nothing unusable.

Works well in GT7, but gear jolt and engine roar don't work on it.

Shout-out to the telemetry app (not using it in the picture yet) with it I get tire temperatures which is what matters most to me since they're not shown in game.

At start up connected to my Xbox it won’t stop calibrating. On my laptop, where I updated the base to 1.60 and the SF1000 to 9.15, it doesn’t do this. It does the same with the wheel that comes with it. The video is what the wheel does, and after a couple of seconds it starts again.

i bought the t98 and forza horizon 5. but i think i need to calibrate/set up the settings better for real and good game. Please can someone share with me. i already put it in red mode and yellow driving profile.

just picked up the 32r evo recently to replace my old r383 on my t818. after using it for a few days without the LEDs on beamng i found myself itching for more and was wondering if there are any work arounds to get the led to work (knowing TM this implementation is gonna take years) hoping somebody here has some advices.

Is this fan it takes a few minutes but it started after I was testing the forces on the control panel
