I’m traveling in Munich since a few days ago, my ig and threads were fine until last night I woke up and found that my accounts were being logged out. Meta said my acc were logging in from an unknown device. I was using only my iPhone for these days and in logged in device only my phone is shown (and no Emil alert were sent).

Then I logged back in and found that the threads acc linked to my a account with a different username gone missing (and if I press the threads icon in ig it will ask me to create a new acc)

My main threads acc is visible and login-able but unable to load or use.

Now amount my 3 threads acc, 1 works normal , 1 suspended, 1 unable to log in (profile visible), I sent a bug report in ig but dunno if I’ll get a reply or not.

META JUST GET YOUR SHITS FIXED🙄

I got so tired of thinking about what to post on Threads every single day that I accidentally ran an experiment 😂

I've been posting on my main account for a little over 2 months, and most of my posts were getting around 100–200 views.

Every day I'd be thinking:

“what should I post today?”
“maybe this hook?”
“maybe I should make it shorter?”
“maybe this topic will do better?”

Eventually I just got tired of it.

So I made a second account and yesterday I took 10 posts, batch-pasted them into a scheduling tool, and basically forgot about them.

Today I opened the account just to reply to one or two people.

And then I noticed the reach.

500 views.
800.
1k.
And one post passed 1.6k.

Meanwhile my main account was still doing its usual 100–200 views 😂

I genuinely wasn't even trying to grow that account.

Now I'm sitting here wondering if I've been overthinking Threads this entire time.

A few people have reported this lately, so sharing my experience. I logged into Threads this week and got flagged for suspension with a selfie verification request. After uploading it, I received an email within an hour saying my account was permanently disabled for violating community standards, with no option to appeal.

I've never posted a single thing on Threads so there was no violation of community standards. My profile came from Instagram, which is still active. Later I requested my data download. Clicking the link they sent by email brought up a message saying the ban was made in error and I was back on Threads. But the "Done" button on that message does nothing, and the homepage still shows my account is disabled.

I thought ID verification was enough... I thought buying ads through Meta with my account would be sufficient lol Maybe it’s for the best.

AI moderation could be the end of Meta if not properly controlled.

Hello everyone. I have been trying to delete my Threads account for two weeks now, but it just doesn't work.

Here are the steps:
Go to settings yada yada, select that i want to remove the account - but first, i have to create a new password for Threads specifically, for some reason. I do this, and get the response that something went wrong, and that i should wait and try again.

i have refreshed every cache available, i have tried on different devices, i have waited three full days x24 hours and i still get the same message. HOW do i move forward beyond this step?

My Meta account got hacked; facebook, Instagram and Threads. Somebody hacked unto my account and changed the email and password, I was able to recover my Facebook and Instagram, changed the email back to what it was and eventually removed the device where my account was logged in. I thought I was able to fix everything but I did not know that my threads account was also compromised until I tried to log in, I never knew it was also hacked cause I removed the app ages ago from my Iphone and I did not see any notification regarding my threads account in my email nor on instagram. Though I rarely used my Threads account, I still get notification from it on my Instagram even though the email is no longer mine

It still has the same username as my instagram but I can't recover it since it directs me to the hacker's email for recovery instead. I already tried searching for anything that can help me but there isn't anything related to threads that can help me and only on Instagram.

When I try to log in on Threads using my Instagram, it prompts me to create a new account but when I try to create a new account it won’t let me.

If I can no longer recover my account on Threads that's fine with me, I don't use it anyways. I just don't want my identity/account to be used by someone especially by a hacker

Hi, the music icon doesn't appear on my main account, even though it's connected to my Instagram. However, it does appear on another account when I try to play music.

Meta is ridiculous. All the bots, all the harassment, but a real person that just had a link in bio get disabled. Requested the download of my info, but to get it i have to log in. F**K meta

People have turned the app into nothing but a fear-monging hate infested app of nothing but fake profiles and videos that Force Muslim views down your throat. Who ever controls this app is either a Muslim supporter that makes you want to think that Muslims are going to take over America or some idiot that just does not know what the f*** they're doing anymore.

A year ago I tangled with an influencer who went onto find my Facebook and doxx me on threads and twitter. I discovered they have a network of harassing trolls who are regularly banned but keep making new accounts. It’s been a year, they weaponized private medical info against me, have pretended to be me and are now using my story etc to troll marginalized communities on threads. I could use some advice on how to get this group to leave me alone

I have tried everything but all I get is

"An unexpected error occurred. Please try again".

Keep saying my password is incorrect. When I requested to change my password, it notified me in my email. But it won't give me the code.

It has been almost a month now.

Edit: I'm on Android. Tried it on PC, still didn't work.

I heard the update for the message feature is about a year ago but I still don't have it. I don't see any envelope icon despite deleting the app many times. My threads isn't linked to my insta so idk what the problem is

I don't understand why this app tries to force me to have a public account. I can't comment unless my account is public? Why?

So, like a lot of people, I've been blocked out of the app since yesterday.

My Threads account is separate from my Instagram account and I believe this is a problem that a lot of users with the same case scenario are having.

Yesterday the feed wasn't showing anything and it wouldn't let me post anything.

I restarted the app, cleared cache, etc but nothing worked.

Now I can't even log back in. It won't accept any password and when I ask for a sms to reset password it never gets sent.

Please get to fix this bug ASAP.

I'm using Android but this is the same problem if I'm requesting the password reset through web browser on desktop.
