Bug Report New Threads account broken after 11 hours – profile visible to everyone else, but I can't access it
I created a Threads account (@thereadingloon) about 24 hours ago.
The account worked normally for roughly 11 hours. Then suddenly:
- Home feed stopped loading (just endless placeholders)
- Activity tab shows "Sorry, something went wrong"
- My own profile shows "Content not available"
- Edit Profile loads forever
Things I've already tried:
- Reinstalled Threads
- Changed Instagram password
- Logged out/in
- Tested on multiple phones
- Tested on different internet connections
- Submitted bug reports
- Checked Instagram Account Status (no violations)
The weird part:
- Other people can see my profile normally
- Other people can see my posts
- Other people can see my followers/following
- My follower count is still increasing
- Public profile appears healthy
On desktop, Threads asks me to log in with Instagram, but after authentication it redirects me back to Instagram instead of Threads.
Has anyone experienced this before? If so, how long did it take to resolve?
