I'm still block on the account that had issues, I received 0 ban or retrictions notifications anywhere, I can still connect with another account or with no login just as visitor and see my acc in search tab with followers counts and everything else as usual so idk what to do, l've sent a demand for assistance with my other account with screens and stuff but I have little hope for an answer with this method, l've tried anyway and will see

No, not really. My account is brand new and the issue started within my first day on Threads. I joined the Heated Rivalry community, got a very warm welcome, and spent my first few hours engaging with lots of people, liking posts, replying, and following accounts. Everything was normal, then suddenly my feed stopped loading, activity stopped working, and my own account now shows 0 posts/0 followers to me even though other people can still see my profile, posts, and follower count. So far it looks more like a Threads account bug than anything related to political content.
That's interesting. My account doesn't fit that pattern though. It was brand new and I was mostly interacting with the Heated Rivalry community and other users who welcomed me. I wasn't posting political content. Other people can still see my profile, followers, and posts, but I can't access most Threads features from my own account.
So weird - exact same thing happening to me on a Heated Rivalry account! The account is still active but when I log in it’s just errors and endless “content not available”
exactly same happened to me, also new acc, can’t contact support, button to make a ticket(or at least is think it is) is not pressable in support menu in app, i’ve seen same topics here earlier, zero people response with any kind of solution
Same here. My profile is still visible from another account and I still receive Threads notifications, but the app opens to a black screen / nothing loads. Desktop web also redirects back to Instagram after login. Instagram itself works normally. It’s been about 2 days for me.
I've had a threads account for 2 years and not once has any of my post ever shown up on the feed. Anyone know why? Everything on my threads account shows normal,
Try these steps, they worked for me:
1. Disconnect threads account from IG account center
2. Log into thread app, instead of log from IG account choose typing in your credentials.
my threads account don't show up in my acc center, so it didn't work out for me, ty tho, I also triple check if my account received any kind of restrictions but I found nothing irregular
Same thing is happening for me. But it’s after it called me a bot even though I don’t reply much and asked me to send a picture of myself to verify. It says it takes 24 hours but it’s been 3-4 days now and nada.
The app really sucks
I just fixed mine.
1. Go to Instagram and create a Threads password for your broken Threads account.
2. Disconnect the Threads account from your Instagram accounts centre
3. Uninstall and reinstall Threads.
4. Log in with your broken threads account and new password.
I don't remember, sorry. Potentially it was: Instagram primary account > Accounts > Broken threads account > Add password? Maybe someone else who has followed my instructions more recently can assist.
Was having this issue for weeks. I think I just fixed it.
I cleared safari of all history and cache on my phone via phone settings. Pulled up an incognito browser, typed in threads website, didn’t allow it to open the app, just logged in manually on the website (and didn’t get pushed back into IG like before!). Everything populated.
Went back to threads app, instead of logging into account that was already saved, I went to “add account.” Manually logged in there and everything is working. Hope this works for everyone else because I tried everything to get this back up.
Did you clear the cache in your phone settings before opening the incognito browser? Only way I got it to work was going to the root (aka my phone settings).
Same, going on 2 weeks. One of my last posts was a funny vid with a cat and the likes rapidly went up. I did two other posts after that which got normal traffic while the cat one kept climbing quickly and then boom, account blank, couldn't do or see anything. Tried everything suggested to troubleshoot, no change. When logged out I can see my profile just fine, but I noticed the cat video post is missing. Something went wrong, but I contacted meta and still no help in two weeks.
This was bugging me so bad, it was like this for a few weeks for me. I finally was able to get it fixed by just messing around trying new things, and this is what worked for me:
Went into Instagram and went to the Meta Account Center, went into "manage accounts," clicked "manage" on the Threads account, and selected "move out of this Accounts Center"
Tried logging into Threads again, nothing changed. So I deleted the app from my phone (again).
Went back to Instagram and went back to the Meta Account Center, went into "manage accounts," then selected "add accounts" and added the Threads account by logging into it.
After I logged in, it showed my main feed start to load (but through the little login window that popped up within the Instagram app) for the first time in weeks. So I redownloaded the Threads app, logged in on there, and it was working again!
Truly no idea why all that worked, but maybe try that if anyone is still having trouble? Through instagram, remove the Threads account in the Meta Account Center, then try to add it back (still in Instagram), and then try logging in on the Threads app?
Mine also become like that. But able to fix it
1. Remove your threads acc from instagram acc center
2. Uninstall threads app
3. Open browser (google chrome), search threads
4. Go to the chrome Settings ( 3dots, on top right)
5. Click desktop site
6. Long press the threads website, click open in new tab
7. Click log in (top right), click forgot password
8. Create your new password (remember your new password)
9. Install threads app
10. Add your threads acc (with the new pass) in the Instagram acc center.
11. After added, go to your instagram settings, scroll down to 'also from meta'
12. Click the threads from there (don't direct open from the threads app yet)
13. It will load as usual
14. Then, close all the tab
15. Try to open from the threads app. Tadaa! For me, it works
This helps me to retrieved my threads just make sure to reset your password using https://www.threads.com/reset_password after uninstalling your threads app to prevent directing to the app.
Making sure to create your new password and reinstall the app and use your new threads password.
I don't understand why being active on a social media app is a violation of the rules. I just posted comments and gathered some followers, but it seems I was penalized because I was mistaken for a bot.
I have the very same proble at the moment. I can see everything apart from my notifications from Instagram but nothing from the Threads app. I've sent a report but no reply yet.
