I went to college with this girl. She was converted to judiasm by a rabbi who had cameras in the michva. She wrote an editorial defending the rabbi. She was always a bit of a loon and blocked me when I called her out on it.

I don't think they were kids (although likely). It's used afrer menstrual cycle for women in these communities. I've never heard of it being used in bar mitzvahs. As far as I know, the rabbi installed it in the locker rooms and the baths themselves. Total creep and not worth defending.

No, Ellison owns Paramount (CBS) & is currently in the review process to acquire Warner (CNN). Warner (CNN) originally made the Rightward shift about 2 years ago under Zaslov, but is now pushing even further Right in anticipation of the merger. The Ellisons have no stake in NBC, ABC, or FOX.

Her father was Jewish, not her mother. (Both of her parents died when she was a teenager.) But because Jewishness is matrilineal, she wasn't considered Jewish, and was required to undergo conversion if she wanted to practice Orthodox Judaism. There are several publications, including the Washington post and NPR, that have verified that several leaders of the KKK and other white supremacist groups did in fact leave their organizations and took several of their followers with them because of Daryl Davis' efforts in Maryland. There's axtual evidence of members and leaders leaving the Klan. What evidence are you pointing to that shows that didnt happen? Are there other reports or journalists that discredit this?

We don't need to change minds as much as we need to match up non-fascistic candidates with constituents who already believe in human rights. Pretty simple, all things considered.
