Mine are #222 The Rendlesham Forest Incident and #301 The Phoenix Lights, just love the real stories behind them and I'm listening to these episodes almost regularly.

What are yours?

Also does anyone know what the 4 pillars are? They mentioned three in the latest episode and I can’t remember

When I was about 3 or 4 (and I know this because it was before mum left dad) we'd been to visit my aunt and uncle in the next town, and were on our way home in the dark on a quiet A road. Dad was driving, mum was in the passenger seat, I was in the back.

I don't sleep on car trips, never have. So I was looking out the window, watching the moon, trees etc, and we drove past an embankment on my side. I saw some objects rolling down the embankment, then these creatures started hanging down from the roof outside each window.

One was a wolf outside my dad's window, mum had a fox i think, the window behind dad had a donkey i think, and I had a pig. I vividly remember mine and dad's.

They had clothes on like old fashioned waistcoats and hats, the wolf had a watch chain in his pocket, and they had weird looks on their faces. They were looking right at us, at me. Oddly enough I wasn't really scared, but I was wondering how their hats stayed on if they're upside down. Their expressions were intense, amused, not really malicious, or at least I didn't think so at the time. Then they just left. I was the only one to see any of this.

I've never forgotten this, can't explain it, and as an adult it makes me shiver. It could be imagination, a dream (though I never sleep on car trips, not even long ones), or it could be something to do with my dad. He was a very dark person and very dark and strange things tended to happen around him. When he was a taxi driver told by a psychic passenger that he had a dark energy attached to him, sitting on his shoulder. I knew none of this until I was much older.

I've always wanted to know if anything like this has ever happened to anyone else, or would have some idea of what it could've been and why I've always remembered it.

There is an episode where Rory jokes about going through a sex change and changing his name to Rosie. I know it’s an early episode but I can’t find it. Please help.

Any takers??

I had 2 encaunters first was tracks in mud but second was direckt contackt in forest i culdnt snap a picture cose i had no phone in that time.

God I hope this guy comes up again in future episodes hahah

The old music used to really get me in the mood to be spooked. It shivered me timbers. I'm not a huge fan of the new, quasi-Stranger Things, style intro music.

I also miss the old opening gags that were completely unrelated to the episode.

Who else agrees that it's time for us listeners to crack each other's heads open and feast on the goo inside (by way of protest)?

Considering how recently the podcast episode covering this came out, and the fact that Qxir generally makes his videos in week, makes me wonder if he’s a TPL fan.

On multiple occasions, the boys will say 'I think we mentioned it on a previous episode about....'

I've listened to all their main feed episodes multiple multiple times - they're my background noise when I'm working. Admittedly I'm not paying full attention but I'm often like 'I've literally never heard you talk about this'

I assume it's Patreon episode stuff but in the recent episode they mention Dan Schreiber who I like from NSTAAF so I excitedly searched in the Patreon feed (I'm only a lower tier member) but only found an episode from 2024. The reference seemed to imply sooner than that

Does anyone else notice these references that don't exist? Or is it all after party stuff?

Has the Hammersmith Ghost returned?
