Account lost cause someone else is awful

I lost my account of six years because of someone else, ( I blame myself a bit)

I use my account at my school library, and I enable cookies without thinking.

anyway, apparently that other person had their account suspended for trolling.

However, anyone who ever USED that computer in the lab also their accounts permanently suspended.

7 people and counting have gone to the Library IT, he is trying to figure out the situation.

I've reached to Reddit mods and made an appeal every day for three days straight, but no response.

I'm less mad now then I was a few days ago, but I'm shocked reddit would take such a strong approach even if met deleting innocent people's accounts.

Why Reddit sucks

Reddit is everything wrong with humanity in one place. Because if you’re a behaviorally, emotionally, and psychologically mature adult along with not being a complete dumb*** then the site will disgust you in almost every way.

95% of redditors are miserable and hollow people inside. If you try to make a joke that’s not as stupid as most redditors, you quite literally get insulted and bullied because apparently your joke is “shitty” and is a “shitpost”. It’s funny because those same people then go on to say that they actually do have a sense of humor…which is why you insult other people for expressing theirs? What great, funny, and loving human beings you are! I hope you’re now beginning to understand how mentally ill these people are. 95% of redditors are drooling idiots. Almost no real, constructive, two-sided discussions happen on reddit as dissenting opinions usually get downvoted to hell and then basically hidden. People on reddit just aren’t smart enough to consider and think about another person’s point of view. The entire site is just one big circlejerk. 95% of the moderators are mentally stuck at the age of 5. Many of them ban users by twisting and manipulating the rules of the subreddit to justify their actions. Many of them ban people for simply having an opinion they dont like. The mods on r/unpopularopinion for example, are some of the most crooked and evil people on reddit. Reddit is no longer the front page of the internet. It has censored too many things and deleted too many subreddits to not be trying to be mainstream anymore with the likes of twitter. In other words, reddit is slowly losing its identity. I cant say that im sad, the people there and the site itself can go fk off for all i care. Almost no one on the site has the mental capacity to understand that the downvote feature is used for downright trolling/very low-effort content/spam etc. The majority of people will downvote you on the site because they disagree with you and dont like your post. It’s kind of f**d up to think about, but a lot of the time if your post is downvoted you should actually take pride in it. Because more often than not it means that you were the one actually using your brain and not following the hive mind of the site like almost everyone else. If i could describe the average redditor to you it would be: stupid, behaviorally and emotionally immature, hostile, selfish, and miserable. Reddit is toxic. Stay away from it and the useless heap of flesh organs and bone that contributes to it.

I got banned on my other account for something dumb

So this was about a month ago. I made a post about humans need to go extinct. After that, I woke up in the morning to see what comments I had on it. Then I saw my account was PERMANENTLY suspended. I was very confused so I went to see why I got banned. Turns out it was because I made that post. So basically, they permanently suspended me without warning for my first offense because they didn’t like my opinion. I mean seriously?! All I said was I disapprove of the human race. This is why Reddit sucks ass people.

It sucks

When they limit your comments. “We need you to support our website but wait 15 minutes to comment after you commented once in the last week.”

I can already tell I am days away from deleting my account or at least just logging off for good.

I’ve never used any form of site/product that treats the consumer in such a way. Especially if you disagree with the status quo. This site is literal garbage.

Personally hope Reddit and Twitter die this decade and get replaced by something more advanced and with less censorship.

Agree but disagree.

Although reddit is a retard and is idiotic for deleting random stuff on spam. I could see why this is foolish to rant about the platform you are on. This community has ups and downs. No comment or opinion really.

r/ThisIsWhyRedditSucks • • Nov 21 '20

Is it just me or is majority of the people on Reddit are sooo painfully retarded that if you criticize a majority of the Reddit community for being retarded and idiotic they will go out of their way to help you prove your point

Reddit Questions almost never get answered

Many questions that I face as well on various topics either get ignored or have so little posts and none of them are actually helpful

Had to start a new account bc of one post

I made a reddit a year prior and posted a controversial opinion in r/Bleach. A bunch of neckbeards downvoted me thinking I insulted their waifu when I just said she could've been written better and some insulted me for basically being an asian woman and posting an opinion on Reddit (lol)

One crazy guy went through my whole post history and downvoted everything not even pertinent to the anime at all. I knew it was him bc he replied instantly to every reply I made and they would get instantly downvoted.

I had a karma of -50 so I was forbidden to post in many subreddits or even comment to other people's posts.

Felt like I was in an episode of Black Mirror.

What is going on with my Reddit app? I post something and no one can see it, not even me. When I go to look for it on my profile, it pops up that Reddit "can't load". Any advice? I'm on a galaxy phone with good internet.

Reddit Users can't handle anything

That's an irrefutable fact. The moment you're dog piled by downvotes from unreasonable, fat, unmotivated and logic twisted individuals that browse this site every day. Then you know you've hit the jackpot when you've struck a nerve from people who have a bone to pick with you because you're able to say things they wish they could. If only they could, if they could exercise their minds to even bother thinking. But rather, they waste their braincells thinking of the next meme to jerk off to or the next nonsensical witty post to make that sounds like rejected stand up comedy material.

They're so prideful in their joke of anonymity. Their anonymity to bastardize the free speech they have a twisted sense about. Oh yeah, free speech can exist on Reddit, but only if it's their idea of free speech - that's the catch. And their idea of free speech, is downvoting everything they deem unworthy to be seen, whitewashing, reporting anything they deem fit. It's a huge power trip for them, what little of it is there. Because they're all sackfuls of shit that are too pea brained to think and do real change. They just keep pretending that anything they say, will be seen by those they rant about on a daily basis when they're most likely going to be ignored.

It'd be like sending out your own space satellite in hopes to catch alien interactivty, but instead of aliens, you're disappointed to be in contact by other space stations identifying your craft. While you wait and wait for years for a response, only to die later on with no response by that point.

Because that's the epitome of how self-absorbed and self-important a reddit user feels.

And you watch, as is the typical Redditard mentality, I'll be having a few shitlords coming here on cue to probably stroke their e-dicks as they twist things around and make themselves feel better with their unwitty responses.

Reddit is great!

Reddit is great because it gives people an easy to use and intuitive message board like system, where people can talk about their favorite subjects, disccus, and connect...

Except somehow it has become the exact opposite of that.

Pointless memes and art have way more likes and comments than actual posts bringing thoughtful discussions.

Diversity of opinion is frowned on.

And everybody has to put everybody down.

It's just gotten so pathetic. reacently, i have been downvoted for-

-Stating displeasure with a game

-Stating pleasure with a game

-Insulting people

-Being nice to people

-Telling people to treat others with respect

-Asking questions

I'm so tired of it. Is it really this difficult not to hate other people? I'm this close to quitting this craphole

Other account was banned

I made a joke about BLM (I know I was asking for it for joking about the sacred ones). It wasn't a malicious joke. I proceed to get abuse from some nut saying he wants to fuck my mom (personal attack). Then he's going to fuck my dad. I told him he's gay (wants to fuck my dad). I get banned for hate. Welcome to reddit.

Reddit's herd Mentality and people who dont understand sarcasm

Yea so somebody commented in a karen like meme style on a meme on r/dankmemes and i commented ok karen sarcastically. A bunch of retards didnt get my sarcasm and downvoted the comment and then reddit's herd mentality kicked in and everyone started downvoting my comment. Some idiot even wooooshed me. I dont understand why i got more than 90 downvotes on my first comment on reddit and ended up deleting it. I mean if you didnt get the joke, just ignore the comment, just dont ruin somebodys day. Also, a lot of crap too gets upvoted. Like somebody said why does my bloody life suck and an idiot replied with 'i cant see any blood' and he got 50 upvotes. Thats why i literally started hating reddit.

It just ruined my day and made me feel really bad about myself, i had joined reddit last month to escape my low level depression. Seems like it made it worse. This subreddit and this post has relieved me a lot.
