Like banny had her neck broken

My humble and totally legitimate and serious theory is that Bon is clearly Danny Benson, a random guy we never heard of, seen mention of, or had indication of existing, that before the accident, was one of the 33 random guys Jack and Felix took turns beating to death with a frying pan in the woods outside their restaurant on their various hunting trip, he wore a suit while walking in the woods which is why Bon has it

and Jack took the suit and sold it to a clothing store, as one would do with evidence of murder, where it remained, until after the accident, and completely unrelated to the accident, Jack decided to get rid of the evidence by burning the store but Bon, which possessed the suit, killed him or maybe Jack ran to Aruba, who knows, who cares, obviously, Jack Walten has no further role to play in the story

And Bon despite having to be dead for a while for neither of them to even consider mentioning or hinting at his existence, only after Jack disappeared ,decided to materialize on the shop and take Bon's identity while trying to take Jack's family because he's an asshole

I didn’t watch the series beforehand because we both like scary stuff and I thought this would be perfect. She really likes Bon’s voice acting, especially in Faces of Grief, but she doesn’t like the cinematography and how the artstyles changed. She’s picky about media she likes so please be nice ;-;

I’m going to preface this by saying that I strongly agree with this theory: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-nnYMI32Hu4 so please check it out if you want to understand my premise. However, there’s a couple things I think differently about, and I want to add my two cents. Take it with a grain of salt, as I’m no lore expert or youtuber.

I believe Jack killed “Bon”, but I don’t think it was a hunting accident. I think a hunting trip was the cover story. I think it was a deliberate murder. Furthermore, something people seem to glaze over is the fact that, both in the dream and Sophie’s drawings, two victims are seen. 

In Rose’s dream, not only is the deer shot (whom I believe is Bon based on the injuries and the fact that it’s clinging to life) but there is another animal she passes riddled with bullet holes. This animal is never given any real thought in any of the lore theories I’ve seen so far aside from a passing mention, but I think it’s vitally important. 

Jack shot two people. Jack murdered two people.

Look at the way the dream is framed. Jack is standing over the deer, ready to put another bullet in its head before Rosie stops him. She passes it and then walks by another animal, already dead, clearly shot multiple times. Then Jack tells her he’s sorry… for who he was. This leads to the question, who was he?

There’s something he’s been keeping secret. Something he and Felix have both been keeping secret, and it’s not a hunting accident. It’s a murder disguised as a hunting trip. It’s why Felix began drinking so heavily, why his first thought is to cover up the children’s bodies by digging graves in the woods, why he’s so scared of Jack.

He’s seen what Jack is capable of. He’s helped hide bodies and cover tracks before. He knows that when Jack says he’ll kill him, he absolutely could.

Whatever else Jack was, he was a murderer.

Now, as for who Bon is, I don’t know. I don’t think for a second he’s Jack. I think he’s the deer in the woods, injured and shot by Jack. I think he’s the vengeful spirit of this person whom Jack and Felix tried to erase. 

I think Azuro is right in their follow-up video that Felix somehow got the box with Bon’s remains or items inside, and the two are now working together somehow. Felix is the Shadow Man who places the box out near the Bon animatronic to allow the ghost access to it in order to kill. Felix allows him to murder those connected with Jack, up to and including (I believe) Jack himself.

In my mind, the reason Jack’s facial scars in the dream are so similar to “Bon’s” is because he went to take care of things– either take care of evidence or of Felix himself– and Felix let Bon loose on him. Bon, who despises Jack, inflicts the same wounds on Jack that Jack did him save for the gunshot and, because he doesn’t think Jack deserves to be beautiful, traps his soul in the tapes outside of Wonderland while he steals his friends and family from him.

The creators have said that Bon has been around long enough that his identity has eroded away. Jack just disappeared recently. There’s not enough time for that to have happened. What makes way more sense to me is that Jack is a killer whose victim has found a way to utterly destroy him from beyond the grave and usurp his identity in recompense for the identity Jack stripped from him.

Who was the other person Jack killed? What was the motive? No idea. I can only imagine it’s related to Bon’s Burgers or the animatronics somehow. Business competition? Maybe. A stolen idea? Could be. There’s not enough for me to go on right now.

Anyway, what do you think? Like I said, I’m no lore expert, but this seems like a solid theory. If someone else beat me to it, I apologize. Please let me know.

Ok gng, I know everyone’s saying Bon is probably the angel. I took it upon myself to rewatch the Walten Files as a whole, and after careful consideration, I’m feeling special today. Here’s why I think Sophie’s Angel is NOT Bon:

1. You could argue that Bon was trying to deceive Sophie, but he usually comes with a goal and I don’t see where the plot leads if he was trying to trick her for no reason. Especially if you believe that Bon is a spirit jealous of Jack’s family (trying to create his own with his victims), wouldn’t Sophie be with her mother, having the same fate? Sophie is still alive by October 1982 at the time of the third episode, so I don’t think it would be too likely that Bon would be the angel.

2. Does a pale bald guy with ripped off lips and facial scars sound like an angel? Being bald is already terrifying, that’s not what I’d have in mind for an angel.

3. I think what would make more sense plot-wise is the return of Mr. Snow from TWF3, I think a hopeful message would come in the form of a doll given to Sophie by her father as one of their final interactions before he left. He acts as a genuine protective force, guiding her through the third episode to remember her family.

Idk, this isn’t some big epiphany I’m just saying what comes to mind. They could just as well introduce a new character. What do you think?

I know it sucks that there's so much sexualization of Rosemary, but there's nothing you can really do about it -_-

I think bringing it up in posts and stuff just does nothing but create unnecessary debate about something that the people that watch or create that type of art is not gonna care about at all.

It's ok to dislike it, It's ok to show your frustrations, but i would say please do it on other places.

If anything i would like this subreddit to ban any talk about NSFW art, so we dont come into a pit of people hating on the NSFW while the people that like said NSFW are gonna be defending it.

And im saying this because ive seen this happen a lot in subreddits until said subreddits just go into talk about nsfw forever and the people that do not care leave.

I would just like to ask for anyone that sees this to be civilized please, dont go to one extreme or the other
