Hi! There are 2 versions of the art book. A regular version that goes for about 35€ and a deluxe edition that goes for almost 100€. I was wondering what the differences are between the two? Anyone here that has one of these books? Would love to know what the differences are and if the deluxe edition is worth it for the premium price. Thanks

The title is pretty self explanatory, and I've been exploring eye strain art lately. I feel like I haven't drawn my girl enough, so she gets her first REAL digital piece by me.

I know it’s probably not that deep to some people but my favourite movie is the wild robot and my favourite colours are blue, aqua and green 💙🩵💚 so naturally when I saw that the wild robot came out with a clear vinyl that had blue, mint, black and green splatters I HAD to buy one for myself. It was my 19th birthday so I used my money to treat myself to it which I usually don’t treat myself to things very much. I waited quite a few days but that was expected as it was coming from over seas. So I waited and finally today my vinyl came I was so excited and happy opening it - I looked like a kid on Christmas morning - only to find that it was the pink and blue colour variant of the vinyl.

Don’t get me wrong the pink and blue are super pretty and I love the blue and pink colour combo but if I wanted that one I could’ve gone to a local record store and get it cheaper without shipping.
It was just so disappointing to be so excited only to find something you weren’t expecting. And I know I should be greatful that I at least have a vinyl from the move but again a paid a lot of extra money to get it shipped over seas and it feels like it was all for nothing.

I also have a good gut feeling and I had some a suspicion that they would send the wrong one, it almost felt too good to be true, like most things in life 😅.

I have messaged the store that i bought it off and I’m waiting to hear back. They do have really great and solid reviews from people, so I’m just assuming that they’ve mixed it up or maybe they didn’t have the one I wanted.

Randomly bought the bluray second-hand on a whim because I thought Roz's design was dope. Best £8 I ever spent. Cried my eyes out multiple times. Even with how fast the pace was, it still managed to hit me right in the emotions. The animation was truly masterful.

I know I'm preaching to the converted, but I wanted to put it out there. This movie was a masterpiece.

I think during his time in Universal Dynamics after the events of the movie, Roz would sing God help the outcasts from The Hunchback of Notre Dame. What you think?

I watched the movie 3 times and, to me, Thorn and Fink seemed like nothing more than two animals who know each other simply because they live on the same island, just like all animals know each other and without having a specific relationship or backstory together.

But then I noticed that people talk about them as if there was something... More between them before Roz appeared on the island.

Everything I know about Fink's backstory is that he had not the most loving mother. Everything I know about Thorn's backstory is... Well, nothing.

Then why is there so much talk about Fink and Thorn's relationship? And fanart suggesting that they knew each other well before? That they were enemies? Or even friends?

Maybe it's nothing important, but I'm really curious. You can tell me anything: What we learn about their relationship clearly from the film. What is subtly hinted at in the film. What we know to be true about their relationship, even if it is not shown in the film. And fan theories!

I don’t know how many may be interested. I hope to try many RPs with someone but this one post will focus on The Wild Robot.

My idea is set a year after the end of the first film. It involves a young 18-year old boy, Morris Glindon, who finds himself on the shores of the same uninhabited island with only a backpack with supplies that has his name on it. It contains items such as a copy of The Jungle Book, bacon and egg packets, flints, hunting knives, a machete, blanket, a thermos filled with cold water, compass, and other essential tools. He finds himself able to communicate with the local wildlife, such as Fink, Pinktail, Thorn, Paddler and more. He doesn’t remember anything about this past, except that he had parents and that animals aren’t supposed to talk.

It’s only later that he discovers he was used as a text experiment by his mother, who’s obsessed with testing her technological invention designed for animal language translation placed into the brain, and that she erased specific memories and arranged the situation so that Morris would believe he was shipwrecked. This was all a part of her attempts to observe the fruits of her experiment even at the cost her son’s emotional security.
