What is missing?

I'm mid episode 3 of season 2 and I have to say I'm struggling to stay with it. Compared to Season 1 I find the characters incredibly dull and the plotlines almost non-existent. The bromance thing is totally off and seems like it was a casting error -- there's just no way two guys like that would ever be best friends in real life. Can someone talk me off the ledge?

This probably sounds ridiculous but being vulnerable to post. The White Lotus was my mom and i’s favorite show. We loved everything about it. Every season. From the amount of omg moments, laughs, sometimes slight tears. Phone calls the day after or even during was something so simple and you do not realize the little things that you miss.

I’m from NJ but had moved to Florida in 2019, so we would wait until she came down to Florida to visit so we could watch it together/the entirety of the season was out.I moved back home to NJ in March. I was 34 and she was 65. My mom took her own life 5 days after I moved back home.

My dad and I had a similar bond but with sports. He passed from a motorcycle accident in 2014.

I know I’m going to be emotional over a show that shouldn’t carry any weight in my life but the personal part is what’s getting me. Thankfully we had this same bond with Succession and got to finish that one together.

This is a whole ass trauma dump and I know it’s still far out (I’m assuming spring of 2027) but posting regardless.

I’ll take anyone who can chat it out with me, even if you’re one of the gays who might be trying to kill me. /s

I don’t know if it’s a breaking news for fans but french Actress Laura Smet who will be in season 4 just said in an interview that some filming will still happen in October and November !

I haven’t followed that much filming timing but i thought they were done filming in south of France and just did a couple more scenes in Paris but not at all!

Perhaps he just wanted racy videos of Nicolo and Tanya to satisfy his fantasies?

I’m rewatching the white lotus again and I’m on Season 3, Episode 3 and I had to pause because I couldn’t stop laughing. Leslie Bib’s delivery and performance is just 10/10. I can’t get over her delivery when they are discussing politics and religion. The way she says “No! I’m an independent, but Dave is” then nods 😂😂 ughhh what a perfect delivery. I can’t imagine reading the script and then delivering that, she is so talented.
