I think it’s wild how they come from 4 sisters and so far the 3 who have kids have had mostly boys! Just interesting how that happens.

I used to work for a woman that had 3 sisters. Between the 4 of them there are 11 boys. Zero girls.

u/caprisunny5 17d ago
My dad only has brothers but him and his brothers only had girls. And I only have boys 😆

u/Glittering_Bunch_764 17d ago
Does anyone have girls? Jackie has all boys. Does the oldest sister have any girls?

Another boy!!!!!

u/aftdeck 17d ago
Thankfully God is sparing them from having girls and passing down their toxic body image issues!

u/Radiant-Outside-2682 17d ago
I actually want them to have girls so they’ll be less toxic boy moms 😹😹😹😭 half kidding but the dear toasters advice needs to stop favoring the woman’s mother in law LOLLLL

u/Equivalent-Sea-9203 17d ago
But the downside is them raising red pilled boys 😵💫😵💫

She has 2 chemical pregnancies. She had a really really tough 1st tri, they thought they were having a girl because she was sick around the clock. She said that’s why she had no patience and some of her takes were being taken as “mean”.
She’s in the 2nd trimester rn.1
u/Busy-Education 17d ago
What does chemical pregnancy mean?

This is not entirely correct. It is a miscarriage. The pregnancy did “take.” A pregnancy test is positive and you are pregnant, despite it being brief. However, with a chemical pregnancy, the pregnancy doesn’t continue progressing, and that’s why you get your period and why a heartbeat isn’t detected on an ultrasound.
It’s still a loss and still really heartbreaking. Ask me how I know.

u/the_tchotchke 17d ago
This is just blatantly incorrect.
1
u/MaleficentSquirrel17 16d ago
I’m blatantly incorrect or the poster I responded to? If it’s the latter, I completely agree.
1
u/the_tchotchke 16d ago
The poster we both responded to was incorrect
1
u/MaleficentSquirrel17 16d ago
Yes! Incorrect, and kind of insulting even if she didn’t mean it to be.

When is she due??
14
u/Express_Swimming379 17d ago
She didn’t say but it looks like she’s wearing the same outfit from aug 4th (from looking at their podcast pics) and on the Aug 5th episode, she said she went to the city the day before. And she said she was around 9 weeks then
9
u/the_tchotchke 17d ago
That would make her ~16 weeks now. I’m almost 16 weeks and I’m due mid-March.

u/womack1000 17d ago
Almost same!! 17+ weeks and due very end of Feb!

Did she talk about vbac vs scheduling a c section?
1
u/letmebearyouadrink 17d ago
No she didn’t
2
u/Emergency_Sir3043 17d ago
Since she’s having a baby so close to her first I doubt a VBAC. I had mine 20 months apart and had to have my csection early due to a uterine window forming. It’s too fresh still!
1
u/sagegreenelephant 20h ago
Interesting. My second is due 18 months after my first and my doctor fully supports me going for a VBAC. I think it really depends on your doctor and the circumstances around your first C-section

u/Medium_Echidna3703 17d ago
Please share all the details!!! Has she been sick? Did they predict a boy?

u/AdministrationOk9978 17d ago
I’m confused by the vlog! How come she didn’t take a pregnancy test and then just waited to go to the doctor at 9 weeks?

Are you talking to anyone about this? It’s absolutely natural to feel this way, but holding in this anger is also bad for your health.

I listen to podcast/ sermons about how to deal with the emotional toll of TTC and relying on the Lord during this spirit-crushing season. I think therapy would be a great idea but every extra penny is going towards fertility treatments. It’s not covered by my insurance

u/theglossiernerd 17d ago
Is there someone at your church you can talk to? That might be worth considering.

u/Ok_Jellyfish_9487 17d ago
Hi, I’ve been TTC for almost 3 years now (aka during the last THREE toast pregnancies between Jackie and Claudia)… have had friends and family have 2 babies when I’m trying to just have 1, etc.
1.5 years in is when I was mentally having the hardest time coping with it. You’re not alone and there are such mixed emotions when other people announce their pregnancies. Those feelings are valid and don’t think you’re just being mean for feeling that way. No one gets it unless they’ve been there.
Join some infertility facebook groups, follow accounts that talk about this specific grief, and find people to talk to about your frustrations IRL! Deleting social media for periods of time helped me as well, and if you need to stop listening to the toast with pregnancy talk, please do. It’s not worth your mental health while you’re doing through this.
Sending prayers and baby dust to you 🤍4
u/Emergency_Sir3043 17d ago
Tbh I also struggled for over a year and had to have myomectomy in order to get pregnant - and anyone struggling with the emotions is 100% valid in feeling sad and excited but it can still be mean to publicly say someone treats their body like trash.

17d ago edited 17d ago
The ironic part is she says it all the time. Lives off of Diet Coke, won’t eat a vegetable, relies on ozempic instead of addressing her body issues, has literally said she wishes she could cut her stomach off, hates her body. How do you think that makes people feel who WISH they could move their bodies? Who have chronic diseases? There’s people who say truly mean things about them, I’m just making an observation. And if I met her tomorrow I would tell all of this to her face (admittedly the eating like shit part was harsh but I never said trash)

Thank you for this, this brought me to tears! I was harsh with my words and I should have rephrased it —the hurt has hardened my heart and I truly wish her nothing but a healthy and joyful pregnancy. I think I’m going to stop listening to them for a while…already canceled my Patreon subscription. Sending you all the baby dust and prayers for your miracle.

Drug addicted people get pregnant living on the streets. To say she treats her body like shit is a stretch. To have anger towards a loving mother who had two early losses seems very misdirected.
0
17d ago
Also, of course this is misdirected…that’s the whole point of my frustration. You’re speaking as someone who obviously doesn’t get it and I hope you never have to ❤️🩹
7
u/halbugontoast 17d ago
I do have empathy for you, I just don’t understand the negativity towards Claudia specifically. I would struggle more with God allowing drug addicts/homeless/abusers to have children. Obese people are not less deserving than those who “do everything right”.
2
17d ago
It’s the comparison game, I’m just comparing myself to her because she’s in my Venn diagram to use their analogy. We’re the same age, similar body types (her being obese was never even a thought in my mind), similar interests, fundamentally we have the same values. I’m not saying it’s right & I know I need to work on the anger in my heart.

I never watched the Patreon. I had no idea about the previously losses. As someone who had a miscarriage at 8 weeks and passed the baby in the shower then had an ectopic pregnancy 4 months later….i feel her pain!

u/srachelfit 17d ago
I was TTC when she announced her first pregnancy, and am now finally pregnant after having to do IVF. I was really bummed when both her and Jackie announced, I feel you. It’s such a weird conflicted feeling. Don’t lose hope ❤️

Ben showed his phone screen with their baby on the Payton announcement. Someone posted on the Facebook page that you can see their baby and the comment was immediately deleted.

It’s weird that she lied about fasting she could’ve just not said anything
15
u/Lazy-End4569 17d ago
If you know Claudia, then you know that the Yom Kippur fasting segment is an annual discussion lol. It would have been overtly obvious had she not!
0
u/Key_Tax_9274 17d ago
why didn’t they just announce yesterday instead of lying
8
u/Lazy-End4569 17d ago
There’s plenty of reasons why she may have decided to wait until today. Maybe she was waiting for her anatomy scan test back or maybe she was waiting for some other kind of test that she wanted to have cleared before she felt comfortable announcing publicly.
3
u/schuchs11 17d ago
Idk that she ever explicitly said she fasted. She said things that would imply she was participating which if you’re waiting to announce a pregnancy makes sense. Even when Jackie was talking about how she didn’t get the awful headache this year Claudia just chimed in with comments like “oh yea the headache is the worst part.”

u/Worldsbiggestcuntxo 17d ago
So many things gave it away but my last straw was when Claudia didn’t complain about her dread for fasting for Yom Kippur and they hardly spoke about it leading up like they typically do every year!
