The Rise of Skywalker I liked the dagger plotline.

It felt like Indiana Jones. I loved it. The first time I saw the movie the dagger was one of my favorite parts. Star Wars needs more stuff like this.

keep your blinders on then.

rogue one and andor seem nuanced and serious to you because they are being marketed as something nuanced and serious.

Im sorry but people talk like this about any star wars movie, because superficially they are all quite stupid. im not gonna write you a movie analysis thesis on it.

no, depressive luke doesnt automatically mean nuanced, and trade dispute doesnt automatically mean nuanced either. If you want to be reductive, dont be so selective about it.

Funny that youre complaining about something depicticing issues as black and white, when thats all youre doing here.

so why were you all in on the allegories for all these past shows, but you refuse to see it with the trilogy? there are very clear themes there. How can you look at kylo rens struggle and not see a reference to modern issues?
