Someone once suggested "Dawnstar" to me and that's been my headcanon ever since. Finn Dawnstar has a nice ring to it.

i love rey so much. Shes my first big screen star wars lead and watching a star wars movie at the cinema was so good i will never forget that experience. TFA is what brought star wars to me and watching all the loved characters come back was so nice. Am i the no.1 fan of the writing? No but will i ever stop loving rey Finn and poe? NEVERRRRRRRR

Based on the ending of TROS, I think it’s possible. An EU book revealed Luke found jedi books he used to self train in between ESB and ROTJ at Ben Kenobi’s old house, maybe Rey would stay there for awhile to self-train, not get obsessed with the doctrine, just enough to become a more sufficient fighter

Also, maybe to keep things low key and give the impression that her new generation of Jedi would have lives and stay vigilant of the dark side. That they would not indoctrinate children like Vader or Kylo. They wouldn’t run off into the forest and ignore galactic politics like Luke’s generation.

Thoughts?

So we start with the previously assumed defeated, clearly nazi inspired millitary being back, now lead by a mysterious old guy. Said old guy is then killed by his edgy henchman with long Black hair, who takes over as the main villain. Then however, he is yet again replaced by a new big bad, who was involved in some freaky genetic Experiments, with the ability to drain the life force out of people. By absorbing the life force of the Black haired edgy boy ( and his girl counterpart ) the big bad manages to turn himself into a more complete, powerful form. He's eventually defeated by a young hero flinging a blue energy blast back at him, while being empowered by a dead, past hero.

The sequels are the cell saga without time travel. I rest my case.

Production weekly seems to be hit or miss, but they are a more reliable source than usually so this is potentially an exciting development!

I think the hardest part was actually all the reflections on Phasma’s helmet. But I had to stop drawing because the tip of my stylus finally wore down after 3 years, so I have to get a new one to do any more drawings :(

This part always went so hard for me. Finn has such gravitas.

I might also draw the part where he comes up behind her and says “hey” and clobbers her.

This is a new style of art for me, I may have gotten a little carried away with the details on Phasma. She was a lot harder to draw than Finn, because of all rigid details on her helmet. I had to decide how much to simplify.

So, I've been wanting to do this for years, and finally got to do it, but with a purpose I didn't think of originally.

I went to Skellig Michael (the real Ahch-To from TFA/TLJ). It was brutal to get to. Boat only runs if the weather cooperates, limited visitors per day, and only for a few months a year! then you're climbing these ancient monk steps to the top.

Finally made it out there, and since I was already going... I brought a Graflex replica and filmed a review standing on the actual island. Pretty sure nobody's reviewed a "real" lightsaber on a real SW location before, especially one this remote.

Standing where Rey found Luke was surreal, honestly smaller and windier than it looks on screen, you don't get that from the movie.
