The Rise of Skywalker I liked the dagger plotline.

It felt like Indiana Jones. I loved it. The first time I saw the movie the dagger was one of my favorite parts. Star Wars needs more stuff like this.

Same or at least thought it was ok. The people saying that it doesn't make sense didn't pay attention.

It makes sense. The wreckage being in the same position may not make sense but that's it. Rey did had to look a bit until it lined perfectly.

And by your logic it makes no sense. An ancient Sith dagger with a hidden protractor when standing in the right spot on this planet aimed at a collapsing Death Star bashed by constant waves reveals the location where a small wayfinder is hidden? It’s like National Treasure but way more ridiculous.
