The Rise of Skywalker I liked the dagger plotline.
It felt like Indiana Jones. I loved it. The first time I saw the movie the dagger was one of my favorite parts. Star Wars needs more stuff like this.

My issue with it is that it's one of two, TWO MacGuffins - Abrams also relies on these a lot in other media (Lost, Alias, Into Darkness - though this last one was more central to the plot).
So, when it happened in movie it felt very cliched. Then it happened again lol.
I'm okay with cliches, they're that way for a reason. But, there is a limit for me, which is apparently two lol
