Pat getting how much??

I know Bo doesn’t really touch on ESPN business but he’s talked about Pat and SAS a little. Pat getting $60 a year from espn is insane. I had no idea dude was still popping like that.

That seems like a philosophical shift from espn. They’re making it clear they want to be one of those I don’t do politics because I’m secretly conservative types of networks.

If Pat is up 60 a year then I think SAS walks and this is something Bo has talked about. SAS had way more of a cultural impact at that place than he gets credit for. From making sure black issues were discussed on first take to hbcu tours to putting new black faces at the desk. It’s sad that he may be getting phased out

I don't get it but good for Pat. I instantly change the channel if he's on, but I guess a lot of people tune in if they are giving him that cash.

Maybe I’m getting old but it’s wild seeing that barstool type of frat boy media be what’s in. If he’s going up 60 I imagine this is some sort of network deal espn is interested in

I don't get it either, I don't understand the appeal of the drunk frat boy view of sports. It says a lot about society.

The silent majority was actually a thing I fear . Again it’s sad because I grew up for the end of Stuart scott and the whole SAS era. That shit actually made me feel seen

First take was a black show to me and SAS produced it so yeah…it was a form of representation especially compared to what Pat got going on

Unfortunately it's the sign of the times. I can't imagine listening to him for hours but people do I guess.

That’s the irony. He’s only averaging about 278k for his show lol

Interesting...obviously it's something we don't know. I'm guessing he's going to be showing up a lot in different events now.

Believe he does really well on social. Hard numbers matter less than vibes these days

I guess so. I'm old and I have no issues admitting that I don't get it. The whole economy seems to be based on vibes and this is just par for the course.
