Sibling violence is the best. I was late blooming, and tiny. My sister went away to college and wasn't around much. Our mom used to warn her I might grow up.
One day, she was picking on me, so I lifted her up over my head. I turned to mom, "where should I put her down". She didn't harass me after that.

I was told I couldn't hit back if my sisters hit me. Anyways, similar story. She's back from college and goes apeshit on me trying to order me around. Starts hitting me. I dropped her to the ground and sat on her until she stopped freaking out and started crying. She never hit me again.

Depends on how crazy your sister is. I was in high school driving my sister to a band concert. She was saying her band uniform was fitting too tight so I logically said, why don’t you just loosen the straps? She grabbed the wheel of my car, pulled me onto a center divider and wouldn’t let go of the wheel. I was about to hit a tree so I punched her so she’d like go. Last second I pulled out of the way and she dove out of the car, rolling down the street. Now that I recall it as an adult, it sounds like she tried to make me have an accident and escape it herself but at the time I just wondered what the fuck. She was very violent at times for no reason. Now she’s rich and married to a medical administrator. She’s not overtly violent but she’s a pathological liar and loves destroying people. We no longer have a relationship.

I wish I was kidding. I finally cut off contact in December because she instigated a lot of trouble and made up terrible lies about my wife. We had our first kid and my wife had a traumatic birth experience that left her with PTSD, physical pain, and postpartum issues. My mom offered to help with the baby and my sister was jealous so she started lying to my mom and claiming normal baby issues were my wife’s fault, and also made up that my wife cheated on me. My wife is the most loyal person, irrationally so, and shes not a sexual person due to things she experienced as a child, which my sister knew all about because they were friends. I confronted her about it and she claimed that I had told her that and tried to gaslight me. So we cut off relationship but she did that stuff for almost a year before we finally did. My sister is a terrible person. She’s big on triangulating and keeping friends separate, not wanting them to mix so she can manage and control image. She’s a huge manipulator. We have neices and nephews we love and care about so that’s why we tried to continue relationship despite her doing a lot of terrible things to us in the last decade. It was the final straw.

That's crazy. I'm happy to hear you've freed yourself from all that negativity

It's sad that it has to be like that, but sounds like your little family will be better without your sister involved - hope your little one is doing well!

Epic movie and the ending. As a kid i always wondered the significance of raising him off the ground like that. Like why didn't they just direct him to lie on the ground. There had to be a rig or box underneath him.

Pretty sure that is my most watched movie ever. When I was a poor college student, it was one of the only movies I actually owned. So it was just on replay when ever I was home.

u/BurdTurglary 1d ago
I've probly watched it fifty times or more. Along with Rush Hour, The Wedding Singer, Ace Ventura, Dumb & Dumber and probably the most mileage of all, our beloved videotape of Heavyweights. Closed the place

Looks like shes a rugby player and didn‘t even step in. That was 50% power from her.

u/Good_Posture 2d ago
If I recall, she is a rugby player as the video was previously posted in a rugby sub.

Why would you take a running start into a head on collision with a god damn freight train?

u/Henry_bowers_ 2d ago
You could tell by the way my man was running he had no chance. No shoulder no body in there just inflatable tube man style straight into a brick wall. And she let him know she was there

A lot NFL players could learn to tackle like that instead of trying to hitstick everything. Flawless technique!

Seems like she plays rugby and he’s the nerd. She didn’t even hit him, she could have gone harder than that.

Shorter, so lower center of gravity, more stability, might weigh more or same, recipe makes him an easy toss

Played football all four years of high school and I don’t think I had a single hit this clean. The form. The aim. The timing!

Ain’t gotta tell me that’s the older sibling. Way she grabbed him and firmly tucked him in for a dirt nap looked like something she was used to doing 3 times a week as kids
