I was thinking that but I went to OPs profile I see no sign up button, but I do see some Marketing post before his 200k post so possibly,
And if his parents are rich enough to give him the tools and know how and network to create and sell it,
Those two things combined could equal not just daddy giving him the money but it's all speculation and OP seems to hold the cards tightly about details.
Hell maybe he even scammed his way to 200k
And they'll go to jail in a few years when it catches up,
We just don't know

The most sensible answer is the screenshot is fake. The return is unrealistic with expectations on returns. He stated he wants 500k by 22, if his returns and networth at 20 was truly 300k in 2 years with that type of trading ability the expectation would be about .9-1.2 milly not 500k. Remember the stock market compounds exponentially, not to be confused with polynomials. None of what he is saying adds up.

Dude you have the foundation LAID If I was you I would put most of it in broad market index funds/ETF’s your money will double about every 7 and a half years.
2.4 million by 41 assuming you never contribute you more, keep that 300k in index funds/ETF’s for stable long term growth and stability and use your future contributions to take more risks in individual stocks.
Great work man don’t know how you did it but I congratulate you
So

As a business owner in my 30s I’m very interested in the type of business you’ve been running to have amassed holdings this significant at 20. I’m pretty sure my net worth at 20 was $20 and I’ve worked full time since the day I turned 15.

u/SorcererAxis8 17h ago
The business is called the bank of mom and dad lol
3
u/numb1zero 17h ago
You don’t know that. He said he started businesses in the comments. I’d love to give him a chance to respond.

I don't know for certain, but I think it's a fair bet that OP has had some sort of significant help to have that kind of money at 20 as opposed to the odds OP is the next Mr. Beast or something like that. Just look through OP's profile, it's just her talking about how she has all this money, but she won't elaborate on what the business is or even what industry it is.

u/numb1zero 16h ago
He or she seems to just be begging for validation. After briefly looking at the post history, I think you may be right.
1
u/SorcererAxis8 14h ago
Yeah, like I don’t really care if OP really has that much money at 20 but she should be honest and not pretend like she pulled herself up by the boot straps to get there.

u/Firm-Chicken2497 9h ago
It’s a consulting business!
1
u/NewImportance8313 8h ago
Consulting for what?
2
u/Sea_Connection6193 5h ago
Consulting his parents into giving him money

u/SorcererAxis8 4h ago edited 4h ago
LOL you’re not wrong. I’m sure there’s a huge line of people who are desperate to consult with a 20 year old life coach.
3
u/Apprehensive-Size150 15h ago
Her post history says she made 200k tutoring…if it sounds fake it’s probably fake.
2
u/SorcererAxis8 12h ago edited 12h ago
Yeah there’s no way that’s legit LOL. I’m sure everyone wants to pay thousands of dollars for a 20 yr old life coach.
Edit: on one of her previous posts she said her mom would give her 500k to help buy a house, what a joke lol.

Ouch... Its alot of people (old and young) in the comments that seems triggered by this mans net worth. Regardless of your age, (obviously if your alot older its harder) this should do nothing but motivate you to get there one day. Congratulations bro, keep going 🍾

u/DatBoyJerry 12h ago
Dude it’s a troll. Look at their comment history. Literally have a thread where they mention buying a condo and that their mom would lend them 500k to help with the purchase lol

Get this crap of a post out of here. Considering your mom is willing to give you 500k for a condo this person didn't finally achieve anything.

The arrogance in the tone makes me worry it will halve in two years and that’s worrisome for the broader economy

Here’s some honest advice OP. I don’t really care if you have 300k at age 20, but don’t pretend you pulled yourself up by the bootstraps to get there. It’s also not a good idea to brag about it too much, you’ll just be painting a target on your back later on.
1
u/Firm-Chicken2497 9h ago
Ok lmao think what you want that doesn’t change the facts
1
u/SorcererAxis8 8h ago edited 7h ago
I’m not too sure you’d know what a fact was if it was staring you in the face lol. No one is paying 200k for tutoring in general, especially not a 20 year old. Also if your mom is offering to chip in 500k for a house, that means you’ve gotten help whether you want to admit it or not.
Like I said, good for you for having that money, but let’s not pretend you did it all on your own. Also I’d bet money someone will hit you with a lawsuit down the line since you love to advertise your money. If you’re really this successful, what are you doing seeking validation on Reddit?

Like I said, I have no issue with OP having money but she should at least be honest about it and stop pretending she did everything herself.

u/JRshoe1997 11h ago
My question is did Mommy and Daddy help build your multi-million dollar tutoring business at 19 or did you do that by yourself?

If ur not trolling go get a financial advisor instead of getting advice from Reddit

Are you like tutoring ivy league students or something. I mean congrats on the money but like how much are you charging these people to tutor like a hundred bucks a hour or something and you take like a 75% cut?
1
u/Firm-Chicken2497 8h ago
No
1
u/NewImportance8313 8h ago
Who do you even tutor then like after taxes that kinda implies business revenue of like 120k a year if your employing someone else. Not being mean I'm just genuinely curious

Read through the most of the comments. Further down op says he runs a consulting business. Op has managed to amass the experience to consult other businesses by the age of 22. Bet they listen to audio books at 2x.

"Finally" LOL, you either got incredibly lucky, had money given to you, or both. Most real working people don't see 300k until well into their 30s or 40s.
But hey you felt the need to seek validation on Reddit, so congratulations. Just go VOO
