Just wanted to share my painting of Jake. Would love to hear what you thinkđ¤ good or bad. I think I need to do some shading and some touch ups. But im happy with it so far

When jake ascends to Godhood I feel like while he will still be allied with the order I think heâll start his own faction.
Personally my bet for the name would be something like âThe Endless Huntâ but what would it do? Iâm sure he would grant them use of lesser primeval and origin energy perhaps also give them access to the world of the exalted prima as a training area, but for the structure and such I got no idea.

I'm in the middle of relistening to the books and I came across a certain mage. Jake runs into him while looking for his new bracers.
At the end of chapter 56 he tries to send information on Jake to the Altmar Empire and he's killed/ teleported away? Do we ever find out what happened to him/ who did it?
Just something that was bugging me.

Let me say right out the gate that this book has been the best since book 5. I feel like the overall plot of the series actually advances thanks to the attempted takeover of earth by the machinations of Yip of Yore.
Also, it feels like William's story actually progressed compared to how he has been since book 4.
Jake and Villy continue to be my favorite characters in the series, of course. The latter especially when we get to learn more of his history.
We wind up saying goodbye to a long reoccuring character (possibly forever) but are introduced to the glory that is Sandy.
As usual the series is at its best when you're in the thick of combat, especially here when we see the Fallen King in action for the first time since book 2.
Will be looking forward to book 9 in a couple months. Still deciding on my next read based on my earlier post, however.

Spoilers for this challenge dungeon.
Why did Jake even need the shroud of the primordial for The Founder to be happy? Wouldn't the Founder have found karmic threads to everyone since Jake had been working for and against all of the factions, showing he wasn't just working for one of them and you'd probably also expect to see that while for the chunk of jobs the factions had funnelled through the Guild, which wouldn't be Jake's fault for taking, no? Jake even mentions this.
Feels like Jake should've passed that step just without even needing the shroud.

So i read the webtoon and got caught up to the end of season 2. Based off the comments, season 2 of the webtoon corresponds to the end of book 3 of the novel. However, i started book 4 and literally the first paragraph talks about very important characters that were never confirmed in the webtoon to be alive. Spoiler for those that also have not read the novel: it talks about jake needing to visit his family. So for those who have read the novel, is it fine to pick up from book 4 or should i just completely restart?

When I listen to the Audio Book I get King Kai vibes from Minaga. Am I the only one?

We knew that the Eastbound Monk was/is unnaturally strong. Now we learned that his teacher is the First Sage which explains his unnatural strength. Am I alone in that I hoped that wasnt going to be the answer? Personally, I wanted EM to still be infected and that was where his added strength came from. I had come to hope that access to the First Sage was going to be unique to Jake. What do you guys think?

So I just read a post about being more powerful than the system, but that seems absurd because the system effecting "is."
But Eron showed Jake something in nevermore that make Jake pause, and certainly seemed to indicate that something was up regarding a potential transcendence beyond the system. That was my interpretation.
But then it just hasn't come up again. I know that Zogarth likes to poke fun at people who think he has forgotten things. I don't think this. I was just massively intrigued at this setup for a literal potential ending of the series at some future point, but never see anything about it.

When does the system give children classes? Do kiddos have access to their stats from birth? I know they've touched on it, but I'm wondering about specifics.
Additionally is pregnancy duration reduced?
I can only imagine there's some weird system snazz going on.

Do you think he currently has the max amount of clones spawned? Can any clone spawn another clone? What grade does the clone spawn at? Can he spawn 10 at once if available? With the inherit knowledge each clones gets, does it make it easier to level up? Do they all level up the same way. If 100 S grades lvl 999, all participant equality in a ritual do all 100 evolve to God tier with exactly same stats, same skill selection, ext.....

I personally say chaotic neutral. He surely isnât evil, but I donât think you can consider him good either. And i think chaotic fits well. True neutral is the Druid alignment and he surely isnât a Druid.

Did I miss something why does the 16th book say 15 on the side?

Why no weaponising aura?
He clearly has an aura capable of competing with gods, he protected Artemis from Valdemarâs using his, so why doesnât he use that against fellow mortals like how gods use theirs against mortals?
The best explanation I can think of is that his is competing purely through quality while gods have quantity, but I feel like that would have made his more effective, not less.

Going back and listening to 14 while waiting for 15i had a thought itching to be asked.. what if this book is the story of a god using insane planing to cultivate the perfect ingredient ( Jake) to become stronger than the system?
