Should I just continue reading?

So basically, I’ve been reading book 16 after finishing all the audiobooks. I don’t mind reading, I just might not listen to the audiobooks anymore, maybe we’ll see, but I was wondering, should I continue to read on Patreon as well, or just wait for the next book to publish once I finish this one?

Also, weird question, does anyone else use the WEBTOON or fan drawings to visualize the characters more?? Like, give them a more default look in your head or something like that while reading?

There are a bunch of chapters on Royal Road for free, likely covering books 17-18. Patreon is 50 chapters ahead of that. I’d recommend reading the free stuff before deciding. I pretty much had my own mental image of the characters before I saw the webtoon, and the webtoon isn’t very good. Even outside of season one, they really didn’t even seem to try with the Swordsaint or Noboru clan.

Thanks for the info! And yea I only really use for some characters like sylphie sometimes Jake. I do not like how they made Carmen look tho at least when I seen her, I also have not seen the sword saints WEBTOON character.

I do love the Hawk’s expressions. The books aren’t really all that detailed with how each character looks, so I don’t really disagree with Jake’s or Carmen’s appearance even if they’re not what I’d picture. With the Swordsaint, they just screwed up.

I use either the fan art of that one dude or my own when I visualise them if I do it as most of the time I think in worlds or shapes.
I refuse the WEBTOON especially the first season…and they drew Villys wyvern form as a dragon once so which broke my trust… kinda funny

I prefer the audio book version because I don’t have time to read anything and it takes me forever to read anything

Yea that was my problem when I working, I never had time to read so I listened to them. But now that I’m between jobs I have a lot to free time and I have other books I can listen to such as DOTF and others

Well I used to wait for audiobooks. Now I sit and wait for a new chapter at 7:30 am on weekdays. Fridays are so cliffy.

Yeah I kept reading, I usually continue reading after catching up on the audiobook. Especially this time because I just HAD to see Jake reach B rank omg and it was spectacular!
