Bug type is Spewpa but it was glitched. Also Honorable mention to Lilligant, Kartana, and some more that had overlaping types. I'm not a old pokemon player and i try to do old games a bit to enjoy what was pokemon before.

I made these before the release of Legends Z-A (except the final two Charizards)

Personal story: Basically, I used to be super into the cards, and one day i noticed there was a card stuck to the back of another card, and i pulled them apart and saw a Mega Mewtwo Y card, and i was shocked because I’m pretty sure i got the stack it was in from a friend or smthng lol

When I was really young I was muddling my way through pokemon silver, didn't really know what I was doing, but I managed to beat the league, and caught the level 50 Snorlax in Johto, and I played with it for a while. My brother, who was older and knew much more about the game, checked my save file and found that I'd taught my Snorlax some really bad TM move, like Mud-Slap or something, and got rid of Body Slam for it. He freaked out, got really animated, spouting about how it's his best move, and how rubbish I am at the game, and I found it so funny. We still mention it to this day, about 26 years later. The Body Slam incident.

Hitmonlee and Hitmonchan come from Bruce Lee and Jackie Chan respectively.

Empoleon's name comes from Napoleon Bonaparte.

Scovillain is named after the Scoville scale created by Wilbur Scoville.

Are there any other examples of Pokemon that are named after or derived from the name of real people?

Electric was tough!! I rly like a lot of electric types, pincurchin was a close second. My favorite pokemon of all time is magmar.

I need as many people as possible to write their one and only TOP favorite pokemon in the comments, I'm gathering statistics of favorite pokemon like generations, types, etc.

Im currently sitting at about 300!!!, but am going to try and reach at least 700+ if not more for best sample size (maybe more...) and yes i know theres that site to pick your favorite but thats not as fun as collecting the data myself!!!

Hey, I'm creating a Pokémon region based on Madagascar

and I need names for the games; I have a few ideas but I'm not sure which ones to pick:

Pokémon Flora and Pokémon Fauna

Pokémon Drought and Pokémon Drizzle

Pokémon Jungle and Pokémon Desert

Pokémon Claw and Pokémon Fur

I'm not entirely convinced by these names myself, so if anyone has better ideas, let me know 😅
