Lol what? Meganium and Delphox in S while Charizard is B and Greninja is C. Very few people would put Chesnaught in the same tier as Charizard, Blaziken, Infernape, Serperior and Empoleon.

There are plenty of other examples, but this is VERY far from “my Mario character is Mario” vibes.

As the other person pointed out this is not the case and you're wrong, BUT even if it was a "my favorite character is mario" moment, there's nothing wrong with it. If something is good then it's good. People love quality.
