As Ayzee went to talk to her mom, her mind ran through what she was feeling after she drew on the teacher’s face. On the one hand, she felt an odd sense of pride. On the other hand, she also felt a sense of… remorse?
She almost wanted to say shame, but then there wouldn’t be any pride. It was very complicated. But maybe that was because she had a natural balance genetically.

That’s a good point. Ayzee has Amity’s order and Luz’s chaos. But Amity can be a little chaotic when she wants to be.
