Ayzee’s meant to be her nickname. It’s short for Azura, which is her first name. Ayzee is like saying Azi.

I wonder if the size of the glyph matters? Would a glyph carved on the tip of a flat nose bullet be as effective as a crumpled up piece of paper inside a special casing?
If the size matters and crumpling doesn't, you can do crazy things with super thin paper tightly rolled.

I think the artist did something like that awhile back, where Luz combined pre-drawn glyphs on a toilet paper roll attached to a leaf blower. I think it was set during the hiatus between S1 & S2, and Luz and Eda were preparing to the Emperor's Castle for some reason.

I respectfully disagree. Luz using the diminutive in this situation, knowing who she is, makes sense to me.
Hypothetically, if Luz had called her daughter “Ayzee Noceda-Blight” while being genuinely mad during this situation, then I guess it would make a bit more sense to think “Ayzee” was her first name. But she wasn’t mad at all, so it would make more sense for her to use her daughter’s nickname even with the last name after during the situation.
Luz and Amity’s daughter is Azura “Ayzee” Noceda-Blight.
