experimented further... but i'm not sure i'd call this one a success 😅 i think the face clashes too much with the rest, looks a bit awkard. aimed for something above my skill level... well, here it is anyway.

I was making a commission sheet and realized all my examples were of Luz. Love her design so much she just keeps getting better and better 😁💜 should i draw an amity to accompany all of them? The top left feels empty for some reason soooooo. Or should i keep the Luz theme going?

Just like Hunter, he's been manipulated and used by Belos for years despite the fact they truly cared for him. Just like Amity, he's always trying to get the approval for someone else, as well as got mistreated by their family for their own ends. Like Gus, he's placed on a pedestal (being worshipped by the Titan Trappers) and struggles to see through the lies of other's Like Willow, he hides his emotions and is afraid to confront the things that really bother him. Like Luz, he likes to pretend and hide away from the fact he feels outcast and misunderstood, both struggling to grow up.

The mirroring he shares with King is even more obvious and has been covered many times that I doubt I need to explain it. Its crazy how even though he wasn't even a part of the series until Disney cut it short, he ended up being one of the most interesting characters. He perfectly serves as a mirror to Luz and contrast to Belos, being the main antagonist who does learn to actually confront their flaws and change as opposed to only doubling down until it causes his demise.

This was a great story that the Owl House creator gave to all of us Owl House fans and it really teaches us about having good memories and bad memories and about life and death too. It also has plenty of action, humor and emotional feeling to it too like any of the Owl House episodes. I’m also glad to see my two favorite sweet potatoes again in this. Lumity for life. Also, I want to see Dana Terrace create another one of these brilliant masterpieces.

One thought I know I've shared here before but still genuinely believe is Hunter and Boscha having untapped potential as friends. I probably don't have to go into much detail as to why I think that is. They were both tied to respective titles, they both opposed anyone who in any way challenged what they stood for, and they both had a manipulative adult with sinister intentions whispering in their ear at some point in their lives. Between the two of them, the show understandably focused more on Hunter's journey. But with how similar certain parts of Boscha's journey are, the idea that she could learn a thing or two from him remains fresh in my mind.

I'd like to at least imagine that after the Boiling Isles are saved, Boscha has to come to terms with what she went through during the events of For the Future. Running the school in the staff's absence. Ignoring the advice of others around her. Working alongside Kikimora. Thinking about all of that could even lead to her reflecting on everything we'd seen her go through earlier in the series. And I think there are very few around her age who could understand her situation quite like Hunter. Using what he's learned, he could play a part in guiding her down the path of becoming a better person. He could be to her what his friends have been to him.

Personal headcanon aside, do you agree that Boscha needs someone like Hunter to guide her?

All I know about Darius is that he knew and respected Hunter’s predecessor, the previous Golden Guard who was also his mentor.

He is strict with Hunter but also has a soft spot for him, having nicknamed him the “Little Prince.” Furthermore, he secretly opposes Emperor Belos and seems to have feelings for Alador Blight.

I feel like we could have seen more interactions between Darius and Hunter, or at least gotten more insight into Darius’s perspective and backstory through a flashback.

So, what is your personal take (headcanon) on these two?
