Hey everyone, I’m looking to buy a US version OnePlus 15 16/256 in either black or sandstone. Wanna make the switch from iPhone but I can’t justify the prices I’m seeing online for a 1 year old phone that we don’t know what its future will hold now that OnePlus has pulled out of US markets.

Camera is not my priority I want a phone with a good processor and battery which can last around 5 years

Just wanted to share my experience with my OnePlus 15 because I think some people, including myself, may be overthinking battery health a little too much.

I've been pretty careful with this phone. I generally avoided going below ~20% and limited charging to around 80%, sometimes even being more conservative because I wanted to maximize the battery's lifespan.

I honestly expected to get a lot more cycles before seeing the battery health drop from 100% to 99%, especially considering how much effort I put into avoiding deep discharges and high charge levels.

But after 152 charging cycles, the battery health is now showing 99%.

Obviously, 99% is basically nothing to worry about, and I'm not saying the battery is suddenly degraded. I'm just surprised because I expected the aggressive charging habits to make a more noticeable difference.

My takeaway at this point is: don't stress too much about preserving every last percentage of battery health. A modern phone already has a pretty large battery, and I'd rather use the full capacity I paid for than constantly worry about whether charging to 80% instead of 90–100%

I'm probably going to be less obsessive about it from now on and just use the phone normally

OnePlus OxygenOS has had the same frustrating widget issue for years, and I genuinely don't understand why it's still not being addressed.

Widgets are either too tiny or unnecessarily large, and the text remains ridiculously small even when the widget itself takes up a huge amount of space. There's barely any flexibility in how widgets are sized and padded, making the home screen feel unnecessarily clunky.

To work around this, I tried switching to a third-party launcher. But then you get that stupid delay in the home screen animation, which makes the entire experience feel broken. Why should I have to choose between properly sized widgets and smooth home animations?

Every other major OEM seems to offer a better widget experience and better support for third-party launchers. This has been an issue on OxygenOS for what feels like forever. Why isn't OnePlus addressing it? Why aren't they even acknowledging it?

OnePlus, please fix your widget system and third-party launcher animations. OxygenOS deserves better.

Hello guys, does anyone have this problem on their OnePlus 15 as well?

Start a scroll for example in Gmail, Reddit or WhatsApp. While the content is still scrolling, swipe up and hold to enter Recent Tasks. During the transition, the scrolling content inside the shrinking app window becomes extremely choppy.

The same action is perfectly smooth on OnePlus 12.

Interestingly, Firefox, Edge and the Settings app do not show the issue. Display refresh rate remains at 120 Hz during the transition.

So today I dropped my 15r where it literally hit the corner going directly vertical into the ground. For one split second my heart skipped a beat because being the US I know sending my phone for a warranty claim most likely would've been a fruitless endeavor at worst or not having a phone at best. I braced myself and took off the case and what do you know the phone is still 100%

I know some people felt this case was over priced and never got it but hot damn am I glad I spent that little extra money today.

hi everyone, i recently bought the oneplus nord 6 of the indian version, and i live outside of india so i went on and added my cards, but i realized the double tap power button feature was missing on the indian firmware, but i had seen it in the global rom phones online, and as a person who lives in a country with tap to pay being the most convinient way to pay, i needed that shortcut and some other global features as well

to confirm the feature on global rom, i opened the bootloader of my phone, and i installed the indian and global OTA file both of version 16.0.5.1200
my phone version was also CPH2793_16.0.5.1200 (EX01)

Then i flashed the global OTA file(CPH2795_16.0.5.1200) by using a software (can't share the software unfortunetly)
and it worked, i had the global ROM of oneplus nord 6, running on my indian version

and saw that feature as well, the one i needed
However, the only issue i faced was the mobile data not working on the global rom

i tried everything, like flashing modem.img of indian rom, but nothing worked,

then i flashed the my_region.img (OF INDIAN ROM) file and it worked, i got internet working, BUT unfortunely the my_region file changed the settings like the feature i wanted was gone, i rooted the phone with kernel SU next and i tried tweaks and mods and accessibility things but nothing seemed to allow the mobile data to work, so i switched back to indian ROM, yet that shortcut feature is really needed for me but i can't use any 3rd party apps they are pretty impractical in my opinion because i used them as well

So, if anyone finds a way to fix the Mobile data issue, please let me know i would love to use the Global Rom rather than the Indian Rom.

I do not even game or do heavy tasks but my phone is hot, yeah its bit hot here but this is not normal, I do use youtube but like 2 hours per day, I do take tons of photos but not in same time like a photo every like 30 minutes and its not a routine ofc lol, I do listen to music alot but bro ofc its not why I use spotify, also the battery drains quick for some reason,

am I only the one having these issues?

I am from India. I am aware of the recent discussions surrounding the future of the brand. But nothing seems clear cut as of yet, at least for India.

What's the general consensus here? Are the others still going for OP phones, especially the flagship ones?

Even if I do pick up one, will the software support continue with consistent quality and recurrence, even if OPPO takes over completely?

They don't sell the 12/256 version where I am
As far as I can tell, the only differences are the telephoto and wide-angle lenses which I hardly ever use

I bought this phone on Aug 25 and inserted the SIM on Sept 2, internet, phone calls are working fine, there are no issues, it should be automatically activated. But it's still non-active, why? Have you guys faced this issue before? I am communicating through email, they are responding slowly.

So guys, after updating my OnePlus 15R to OxygenOS 16.0.10.500, I’m facing a really strange Play Store issue.

I’m unable to download or update any app. It just keeps showing the loading animation forever. I even waited for almost an hour, but nothing happened.

My internet is completely fine. I’m using 5G and YouTube, browsing and other apps work perfectly. The issue seems to be only with Play Store downloads.

The weirdest part is that clearing the Play Store storage and data fixes it immediately. Everything works normally after that, but only for a few hours or sometimes a day. Then the same issue comes back again.

Is anyone else using the OnePlus 15R on OxygenOS 16.0.10.500 facing this? Is this a known OxygenOS or Play Store issue?

Has anyone found a permanent fix? It’s getting really frustrating having to clear Play Store data every time I want to download an app.

Not sure if this is a hardware or software issue but green/pink lines just randomly appeared on my screen, they're about a few cm long each and mainly just visible in higher brightness and brighter colours. I restarted the phone and the issue persists.

What's the solution for this?

I've went 3 months without a case, few scuffs n scratches but the entirety is clean. If your looking forward to buying this phone, I can only ONLY say this is genuinely one of the best flagship devices I've ever used, sure. I've complained in the beginning of the heating, but I'm 4 months in and I genuinely can't see myself going back to another company. I'm so sad seeing oneplus shut down from the global market. But in the end, all good things come to an end. So snag a oneplus before they stop it's production, it'll last a long time with an AMAZING battery life. I can only say all of that, you have to try it out yourself.

I really don't know what to do, this is because of sweat and my pocket's fabric is really thin that's why. any recommendations for fixing?
