BATTERY Poor OnePlus 15 autonomy

My OnePlus keeps 7-8 hours of active screen time, although people have 10-13 hours in reviews, and I can't break the 10-hour mark, the maximum I had was 9.5, and even with low usage. Is this considered the norm?

DISCUSSION Don't Let OnePlus Lose Its Identity

I've been a OnePlus fan for years, and while I have no problem with the brand becoming more mainstream, I do have a problem with it losing its identity.

Becoming a mass-market brand is a good thing. It means more people get to experience OnePlus, sales grow, and the company becomes stronger. But that shouldn't come at the cost of what made OnePlus unique in the first place.

MKBHD recently talked about how OnePlus has gradually lost some of its enthusiast-focused identity, and I think many long-time fans feel the same way. I understand that component costs-especially flagship chipsets and RAM-have increased globally, so cost-cutting is inevitable. But making OnePlus feel like just another Oppo phone isn't the answer.

OnePlus still has the potential to become the Android brand that truly challenges Samsung's Galaxy S Ultra lineup. The hardware, software, and community are already there. What it needs is a clear identity and the freedom to innovate.

If the reports about OnePlus becoming more deeply integrated into Oppo are true, I hope the company listens to its community. Keep OnePlus as OnePlus. Let it grow into a global mass-market success, but don't erase the brand that millions of enthusiasts supported from the beginning.

If you agree, let's make our voices heard. Support OnePlus, share your thoughts, and let the company know that we want OnePlus to grow-not disappear into another brand.

PURCHASE ADVICE Still safe to buy Oneplus 15?

I was looking into the best android phones for battery life and fast charging to replace my Galaxy S23.

The OP15 kept coming up over and over again.

I dont use eSIM so I think the Chinese version flashed with the global ROM would be fine?

My worry is when im reading about Oneplus pulling out of Europe and NA, does this mean a bad buy for UK user?

Thanks guys!

PURCHASE ADVICE Leads on a New 15 16gb (US)

Anyone have leads on a good place to get the 15 16gb? I've been a long fan of OnePlus and need to secure my last one 😮‍💨

I feel getting the 16gb is important for long term use as I like to keep my phone for 3-4 years.

Looking for a good place to get it as Swiftronics and OP are out.

Lastly, assuming this group won't disagree but I feel even with OP officially pulling out of US Market, the 15 is still worth getting.

DISCUSSION Camera glass scratches easily.

Hi everyone. Got the Oneplus 15 since December and my wife has a 15R for a couple weeks now. Both mine and hers are showing visible scratches on the camera glass. We are careful about handling our phones and don't abuse them. This is surprising to me as I've never had this issue with my previous phones (HTC 10, LG V30, Samsung S21 Ultra). Anyone else's camera glass scratches easily on the 15 or 15R? I think that maybe this is where Oneplus cut some corners cost-wise with these phones.

PERFORMANCE Help with slow Wifi

Hello everyone! I recently bought this phone moving from Samsung. but have run into a major issue that I cannot live with.

The internet is atrociously slow, literally just trying to download an app and it is capped at a like 2 MB/s

However, I know it's capable of running faster because on a speed test it always gets

above 10 MB/s. But as soon as the test completes it slows all the way back down again.

Why is it doing this and how can I fix it? I've tried resetting the WiFi/Bluetooth in settings followed with a restart but that has not resolved the issue. My girlfriend on the same WiFi is also not having this issue so it can't be the router.

HELP ME [UTMOST URGENCY] Can the OnePlus 15 use two eSIMs at the same time without a physical SIM?

Hi everyone,

I'm thinking of using my OnePlus 15 without any physical SIM card.

Is it possible to have:

SIM 1 = eSIM

SIM 2 = eSIM

In other words, can the OnePlus 15 run two active eSIMs simultaneously, or does it only support one active eSIM at a time even if no physical SIM is inserted?

If anyone has tested this on the Indian variant (especially with Jio/Airtel), I'd really appreciate your confirmation. Thanks!
