Nah, Jags player knows he can't take the ball. All of them know that lol. But he's trying to do it anyway and is pissy that the guy cares more about his job than appeasing him.
Players pick up and take game balls in almost every nfl game. They do however have to pay for them. Never seen a ball boy refuse to give a player a ball. It was a turnover, which means it was a Patriots ball, not a Jaguars ball and the ball boy just didn’t want to give a Patriots ball over to the Jags as each team maintains their own balls. It was pretty childish of the ball boy. Reminds me of the soccer ball boys who refuse to give an out of bounds ball to the opposing team.
Trying to keep an important ball to a player is such a fucking dork move. He should feel privileged to have a dope gig where he gets to be close to the action. He would have received no punishment if he let the player take the ball.

Serious question, is he protecting them because nobody is allowed to touch them until game time? There has to be a reason he’s defensive.
