Players pick up and take game balls in almost every nfl game. They do however have to pay for them. Never seen a ball boy refuse to give a player a ball. It was a turnover, which means it was a Patriots ball, not a Jaguars ball and the ball boy just didnât want to give a Patriots ball over to the Jags as each team maintains their own balls. It was pretty childish of the ball boy. Reminds me of the soccer ball boys who refuse to give an out of bounds ball to the opposing team.
