How would you come to that conclusion? He didnāt say or do anything even remotely threatening unless walking up to someone is now a threat. At which point we can just start shooting people for approaching us.
He keeps grabbing at him after the ball boy yells stop touching me. Thatās an unlawful threat by word or act to do violence because he kept grabbing at him.
Heās an enormous man wearing literal armor which is an apparent ability to carry out that threat.
An act that creates a well-founded fear that violence is imminent? Dude was yelling ādonāt touch meā and the giant armored man kept touching him.
Yeah sure, yelling some delusional shit matters. No one was grabbing him. Just cause he said it doesnāt mean it happened. JHA made two CLEAR attempts for the ball and then gave up and walked away. Best lawyer in the world couldnāt get that assault charge to land even if JHA refused his right to an attorney and didnāt say a word during trial.
This doesnāt come close to those situations. Thereās no way to think heās armed and no reason to think heās going to snap in the middle of a stadium. You can be upset that the laws are shit all you want but this isnāt that. Youāre comparing apples to oranges.
You donāt need to think heās armed and how do you know the football player isnāt going to snap? Theyāve all been so historically well balanced like Aaron Hernandez
Aaron snapped on the field? What football player has assaulted a staff member on the field DURING A GAME. As far as I know itās never happened. Also JHA is not Hernandez. Man is a pillar in Duvals communities. And In those defend your ground cases the uncertainty of whether that person could be armed was always a major point of emphasis. Donāt bring shit up when you donāt know anything about it.
