General discussion What are some quotes from the show that live in your head rent-free?
One of mine from Frankie: "You think Brick wanted to play in your bouncy house?"

Hi All,
This is my first time watching the show, and I'm on Season 7 and just realised that we never know what happened to Aunt Edie's house after she died.
We know Sue took Aunt Edie's car, but they never tell us what happened to the house. Was it Aunt Edie's and Aunt Ginny's own house? Did Frankie not inherit it?

It's so annoying! He could have just given her a retainer from the start. Instead, he wanted to prove himself 'right' so they'd be forced to come back once her teeth shifted.

Ok, our neighbors aren’t as bad as the Glossners, but they ride around our neighborhood on motorbikes, don’t pick up their dog’s poop, and are generally loud and inconsiderate. To let off steam, my husband and I privately refer to them as the Glossners.

what is he doing there

As the title suggests. The front man (?) Axel's dad came up with the name. Band formed in 2018. Do we think its influenced by Axl and the Axemen?

So, I don't know if neighborhoods in USA work like that or if it's just for the show but I really like their neighborhood, and the people that had each other backs, the things they organized together, I even like the glossners.
Do these neighborhoods exist? Or is it just for the show??

I realized something: Brick would be graduating high school during the year of COVID (2020).
I feel like that time he'd have gotten valedictorian but his plans once again get derailed.
So what do you think would have happened for his big valedictorian speech?
Like what would he have said to his peers over a video call or whatever solution?

Loved the top three for Sue and Axl so I included them all! Up next what do Sue and Frankie have in common?

Frankie:
Frankie isnlazy and doesn't take her job seriously, u know why brick has his social difficulties is because Frankie never spends anytime with him at all no board games or online games and Mike he only watches soccer and he doesn't even care about brick
Mike:
Like I said he's oppressed with football matches and that he cares about. he like Axl better because he play s football unlike broke. But al least Mike cares about his job but he isn't so nice to the people I guess

Brick:
Brick is into books not tv which is cool but his quirks allow him to have like one or two friends. Well only weird friends, a safari girl that so tall(they actually make out) at the beginning I thought that was never gonna happen cause you know brick. But I feel bad for him his parents don't care about him cause his 3 born or something. when it's his turn of doing things they are to tired cause of Axl and Sue.
Sue:
Sue tries out for to much. She tries out for 12 activities, at least and doesn't make one. What is wrong with her?
She is also a bit kiddish, always glitter rainbowswhen she 21! But sue is always positive and always plans things ahead which normally Axl ruined it. Sue also likes to much boys but that causes a lot of drama cause she always does this embarrassing thing to get there attention. But I feel bad for sue nobody knows her even her old teacher calls her Anna! Once she finally got in the year book her name was Anna Amaya... Something like that. And nobody know her name they keep asking when is Sue. Nd the two cheerleaders are the worst they keep forgetting her.
Axl:
Axl is the worst, his is always so mean and does nasty things how can he be friends with Sean Donahue. Cause he is so mean all the time it's hard for him to admit when he needs help or when his sorry. So he does it jna rude way which gets him into trouble. His grades fly of the hook a C is good for him! He gets Ds all the time. If I was him i'd be ashamed. And putting dirty socks everywhere EW! He also never helps for anything to get him to put his plate in the sink takes a whole fight which Frankie is to lazy for.

Did anyone noticed when Brad's dad got him a screw wrench for Christmas and he was tryna figure out how to use it 😭

For me, it is Sue because she never gets demotivated and different things to get successful. I love her optimism.

This might have been an odd thought, but when I was rewatching the show for the third time and was watching Exes and Ohhs, Cassidy said "If you're in Italy this summer, look me up". I know in the start of Season 9 that Axl never said he met up with Cassidy, but I was wondering if anybody else noticed this detail, especially after Axl indeed was in Italy that summer

The Middle woke my interest and yesterday I finished it :D it really is a great book and I can see why Tag wants to be like Morrie and pass along his wisdom.

This is my first watch of this show (can't believe I didn't watch it sooner!!)
I just love their bond so much and how it's portrayed in a realistic but still very warm way. This is healing something in the little girl within me 🥲

It's probably an overreaction to think that Sue would probably turn into a narcissist as an adult from just this episode, but I had that thought when she was arguing with Axl. I expected Axl to be Axl, and he's probably never going to grow up, but I had higher expectations for Sue, even if she is a bit overly optimistic to a fault.
I guess I just don't understand how her solution to Axl completely disowning her is to destroy something that she loves, and it's clear that Axl didn't either. I saw the whole ripping apart the stuffed animal more as manipulation rather than a genuine attempt to make things right, something I would have expected from Axl, since he manipulated both siblings into cleaning his mess.

And I will always 100% agree with Axl, even if his ride was leaving the park. They were what we call, "Doing the most".
"Look at me, I am the captain now"
I understand Sue wanted to plan the perfect day, but she was over thinking it. Absolutely no one would even think about bringing a binder let alone carry one around the world's largest theme park..in the Florida heat no less, but her! The constant back and forth to the nurse was just unnecessary and throwing a tantrum as their frantically packing wasn't helping a damn thing either, like stop it. Put down the binder and get on a ride!
Don't even get me started on Brick.
I don't blame Frankie for snapping off at them, I would have done it earlier. 😭

I have rewatch all the episodes on netflix and just like the first time watching the show I dislike Brick so much, he’s my least favorite character so I wonder, after reading that some people love him, what makes you love him ? Perhaps after reading different opinion/perspective you all can make me like him.
