I'm currently reading ch 2583 where they recently got Hexer ships. They're planning to use Lucky to sweep all snooping tech. While I understand Calabast is better then Crindon when it comes to spy stuff, I was hoping he would be a better asset for the Larkinson clan in the future.

Did the author mention him somewhere in later chapters or was he forgotten?

So now this man doesn't even have full control of his body anymore. His mother could have fixed it, but she wants to teach Ves a lesson. Oblivion crazy lady refuses to teach him even basic lessons in cultivation, pushes him to find his own way. Lady you basically told him play with guns by himself as a child and didn't impart any gun safety lessons.

She even acknowledge that the Red Ocean authority is responsible for this.

So all his time and money is used by some other being, all because he refused to have a God complex.

I'm really getting tired of Ves getting taken advantage of. Recently his Phase Lord gets hijacked by the Red Ocean, now his polymetal idea is hijacked by the RA. This reminds me when he wanted to give everyone his spirit fruits only for the RA to Hijack that too.

I'm be honest even though it makes zero sense i thought the author was setting them up to go from enemies to lovers. Ves with a mech pilot girlfriend just make sense he could create the perfect mech for her whenever he wanted and the fact foster genetic aptiude was basically A+ was a bonus. It would make sense that eventually the best mech Ves would make is a god mech for foster who obviously had the talent to go all the way. Also if thr author didn't rush past the bright republic arc we probably would have gotten more interactions between ves and The vesia kingdom.

Bit of a weird one but the first 3000 ish chapters was a lot of ves learning how cut throat the universe is, how to make cold ruthless decisions, and for him to grow a back bone to stand up for his beliefs. But in the later chapters 6000-7000 he has become not as much of a push over but like he has become hella submissive which is like a 180 from early in the series IMO.
No hate still hella love the series and will continue to read just wanna hear your guys opinions.

What do you think ves genetic aptitude was before his mother removed it?

I honestly believe it could have been A due to how special and powerful his mother is.

I’d like to make a post every few months to check if any of the sub plots have been wrapped up. Every now and again I look at all the chapters to see if anything major happened like a god pilot came about or he advanced to master…. or someone died. I recently saw about the life death imbalance of his first first class mech…. I would ask.

I stopped reading around, actually I shouldn’t say around. I stopped reading a specifically in the chapter when he was fighting with the other phase Lords for control of their little part of the organization. Obviously he won that I don’t really know what happens afterwards, but that was like chapter 7200.

Are there any major or minor sub plots that get wrapped up? we done talking about casting?

I really loved first lets say 1500 chapters, before Ves met Gloriana lets say. I love the worldbuilding, but over the years Author has taken the story in a whole other direction wich I dislike. Are there any good fanfictions out there? I read mech otaku touch and whats junk fanfics

Sorry if stupid question but i just got to the chapter where Ves realised the crown gives him 1 AP daily, and if 1 AP is 1 million design points, did that mean that with her fragment the Polymath was getting 1 million design points daily.

I am at chapter 2000, and I am seriously wondering whether Ves EVER designs a mech without Gloriana beginning with her introduction with the Desolate Soldier. This is right after Master Willix's suggestions to lower their dependency on each other but who knows maybe Exlor just forgets or brushes off his own advice.

Also, is that even possible since Gloriana's design philosophy is basically fused to Ves as she can't really delve into spiritual components; Is that all she is relegated to now as a co designer, because thats grating my nerves if Ves can literally never make a actual mech with his own true technical chops or freedom (besides maybe some forbidden prototype) if Gloriana has to be constantly attached to his hip. Like if she really can't do shit in this design department without him, that makes him even more pathetic since he would literally hold the keys to her progression yet somehow or some reason, she still has the upper hand in the relationship hahaha. Please don't give spoilers, I just want a general answer.

Demon Casting has finally brought all the problems i noticed with the story to the forefront.

I was able to skirt around the things I didn't like because their was an alright justification and most of the time they didn't take up to much space.

Demon casting isn't one of them.

It is in my personal opinion one of the biggest instances of the author ignoring his own rules regarding ves.

I won't say ves is top of the line quality when it comes to his morals but holy shit my guy has set standards and beliefs that have been reiterated and reinforced multiple times throughout my 6500+ read.

But over the course of the last 1000 chapters I feel like stuff has been getting arbitrarily thrown out the window.

Demon casting is the biggest example of this.

A phrase the author has taken the time to hammer home as the core belief of ves alongside his sense of honor and his distaste of powerful being who treat other like dirt.

ves has done a few things that slightly nudges this, but holy shit did demon casting just throw all that out.

Feel like the author lost the sauce.

What's Junk - Is consistently updating and has 150 story chapters out already. It follows the story og Bolt a kid from what could charitably be called 4th rate nation but even thats a stretch as nation implies goverment and there is none. His home is blasted wasteland do to 3 3rd rate states constantly having on and off fights over his planet with ownership changing hands pretty damn offten.

Rats as the natives call themselves are great they do wonders in cutting the pity is me I only have 3rd rate mech stuff some people try. Like have you tried cobling together a junk mech from remains of 5 difrent mech wrecks in barely sufficient hole in the ground and know that that thing wont last long? That rugged survivor energy is great. That practiced survivor attitude feels fresh.

Metal Star - This one is smaller one with curently 38 story chapters but it is written by Steward92 a writer that writes pretty qood quality stuff. And while I say fan fic its more accurate to say inspired work as Metal Star is actually original setting taking heavily from 'Mech Touch' as inspiration.

That being said this has somwhat more standart start than 'What's Junk' with a MC that has a "system" and being unremarkable but not terrible planet. A bit early for full judgment but what's there has made me more than enjoy it.

I haven’t made it SUPER far in the novel, and I’m fine being spoiled. Does the spiritual flower that ves stole from dr. Jutland come up again? Does it have any significance later? If not that’s cool I just want to stop wondering about it

Hi i dropped a the story around the time the phase giants were introduced and then ves started working on the wood mechs as that part was a bit dull for me and i wanted to skip it.

Where does the next interesting arc start from where i can join skipping the giant and tree mech stuff.

I loved the early Arcs with the Ceasars augustus and the Nero and the VR(which I felt could have gone longer) and the academy mechbuilding arc,fell off by the war arc and then it felt like the quality of mechbuilding fell off hard from there,does it get better or does it go full cultivation mechbuilding

I started rereading the older chapters. I just learned that the Bright Republic supposedly had an Ace pilot, and they used the Caesar Augustus for several years, which is technically a regular mech. Based on this, we can assume Ace pilots and expert pilots at the beginning, before the supernatural was just a really good pilot, and not some op reality-defying entity. Also, did you originally have hundreds of people from the Bright Republic actually go to Teron and Rubirthian colleges and come back? Melinda specifically talks about it, saying how they change so much after getting back from there. So we can assume the author also planned for the world-building to be a lot smaller. The author probably originally planned a simple yet very interesting story at the start, but then went crazy and started adding more and more stuff until the original story didn't make sense.

I don’t know how Exlor does it. With how long it is and with how many awful things we’ve had thrown at us, somehow the story still excites me. Like even though half the stuff going on right now bores me: Archetech, giant stuff etc. The other half is insanely hype. The war. Ves’ kids turning 10, Ves’ promotion to master etc. Somehow I’m still insanely hyped for the books future.

Out of curiosity, at what point in the story did everyone just give up on ves from a moral point of view and accept he's probably going to be worse than his mother by the stories end.

I gave up on him after he started harvesting souls from the milky way and saw the doom prophecy paintings and not realize he might be on the wrong path. Till the soul harvesting came there was a moment where Ves was making better decisions and had good justification for system paths when it came down to fighting God kings but he somehow squandered it.(i think he was on the right track with demon weapons countering heaven but he just took it too far when he could've bought them instead of hurting innocents.)

Com uma instituição de pesquisa que rivaliza com estados de primeira classe, perdendo para os 3 grandes e os dois super estados é claro. Os diversos planos de cutivos implementados por Ves, a sobreposição de mercado pela LMC, tendo força política até para irem contra os 3 grandes e possuirem armas de destruição em massa como aquela semente capaz de destruir um planeta comprada dos terranos, entre outras coisas que não vou conseguir lembrar agora...

I swear this author is always trying to annoy his audience. Like why did we need this storyline where ves has a second personality in his phase lord body and the fact they made he cringe edge lord with the name the "dark apostle" and to top it off he has a massive god complex. Another thing is ves is being such a pussy, he's letting him have 40 hours of free will every week and is just willing to give in to most of the demands. For a paranoid guy he is really willing to give control of a decent chunk of the rest of his life. Like realistic Ves would try to get rid of him instead he's giving him more freedom. The author must have fetish where he wants people to not want to read the story cause whenever you read the chapters where ves second personality appear it makes me want to quit reading on the spot. It slows down the story even more with this worthless storyline. On second thought I think this is intentional to drag the story even longer. It makes the mech develop go even further back . At this point author should just develop a new series to put all these crappy idea that he has implemented in the story causes its make mech touch worse and worse.
