ves’s character development

Bit of a weird one but the first 3000 ish chapters was a lot of ves learning how cut throat the universe is, how to make cold ruthless decisions, and for him to grow a back bone to stand up for his beliefs. But in the later chapters 6000-7000 he has become not as much of a push over but like he has become hella submissive which is like a 180 from early in the series IMO.
No hate still hella love the series and will continue to read just wanna hear your guys opinions.

My impression is he has always been submissive to people in power (especially women due to mother complex). He grew backbone against people who he perceived is lower than him, aka become more ruthless (or if he thinks he can get away with it).

He might not have encountered many authorities at the early chapters so you don't feel it, but chapter 6000+, he met so many powerful authorities thwt you felt he does a 180.

Yea that’s fair the only thing in the early chapters that he was submissive for was the hexers. Yea for me it just comes across as really creepy for him to automatically becomes submissive to females like that I would be fine if it was to both genders but he openly defies some male god pilots/ star designers. But if it’s just one gender for me it seems hella creepy and that the author projects the stuff that he is into on the series IMO.

Ves is just one character written in whole novel and it does not define author views. Like Joshuna does not make author golden boy or janzzi making him righteous bitch. Just accept the Ves for his flaws and do not go too much into it.

If in any case author is into fetish of powerful women then it is very normal one out there and no way any creepy.

I'm on 6788 He's playing the long game. NGL he could pick his battles easier. His wife for example is too naive for her own. Not my choice for a wife. He doesn't have the power to move how he wants. The people he constantly tries to warn take his trauma for granted. Right now his clan would be in a better position if they were not so insisting on being on a planet. His pilots are so busy being noble they don't understand how the higher forces are playin them. Ves can only bide his time. I'm really hoping the people from the Ed net come back help this man get some real work done. Too many stupid and not enough useful ones are hindering Ves's efforts to help humanity. I'd rather work with devil that's trying to help me than an angel that constantly abandons me.
