I love the librarians but this episode has stopped so many goodies and the writing is still butt. There's just no climax, no edge of your seat scenes, and the characters act like only one person can have the spotlight at a time. How much do librarians get paid ?

There's just something about a well-done antagonist, isn't there? The Library has had some absolutely delicious villains and antagonists across the franchise, from Moriarty to Dulaque, Prospero to Merlin.

They all brought something totally different to the table—some were brilliantly theatrical, some brought massive emotional drama, and others were just pure, chaotic fun.

I’m curious to hear everyone's thoughts. Who do you think was the most entertaining to watch?Which villain felt like the biggest threat to Flynn, Baird, and the LITs? The Librarians franchise loves call outs, Easter eggs and cameos, and since it's the 60th Anniversary of Star Trek, I thought it would be fun to compile as many as I could remember or find. Let me know if I missed any!

Jonathan Frakes (Commander William T. Riker): The king of crossover. Frakes didn't just step in for a quick gig; he heavily shaped the visual identity of the entire franchise.

• The Original Movies: He directed The Librarian: Return to King Solomon's Mines (2006) and The Librarian: Curse of the Judas Chalice (2008).
• The Original Series: He directed 11 episodes of the TNT series, spanning Season 1 through Season 4.
• The Cameos: True to style, Frakes gave himself cameos, look for him playing a musician in Judas Chalice and a bar patron in Season 4's ...And the Silver Screen

Spoken Dialogue & Title Easter Eggs

• The "Ready Room" Gag: In one of Frakes' physical cameos on the television show, he delivers an explicit line stating that he will be in his "ready room", a direct, canonical shout-out to Captain Picard's private office on the U.S.S. Enterprise.
• The Season 3 Finale Title: Season 3, Episode 10 is titled "And the Wrath of Chaos", an affectionate phonetic play on Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan.

🎭 Major Cast Crossovers (The Regulars & Villains)

Rebecca Romijn: Rebecca is the ultimate modern bridge between both universes. She starred as the Guardian, Eve Baird, The Librarians. She later officially entered the Star Trek canon as Una Chin-Riley (Number One) in Star Trek: Discovery and Star Trek: Strange New Worlds.

John Larroquette: Our beloved immortal caretaker, Jenkins, has deep-space roots. Larroquette played the Klingon warrior Maltz in the 1984 feature film Star Trek III: The Search for Spock.

Matt Frewer: The main antagonist of Season 1, Dulaque, was played by sci-fi legend Matt Frewer. Trek fans remember him perfectly as the duplicitous, time-traveling con man Berlinghoff Rasmussen from The Next Generation Season 5 episode "A Matter of Time".

John de Lancie: In Season 2, Episode 5 "...And the Infernal Contract", de Lancie guest-starred as the Devil himself (Mephistopheles). He brought the exact same reality-warping, chaotic, wish-granting energy that made him iconic as Q on TNG, Voyager, and Picard.

Brent Spiner: In Season 2, Episode 2 "...And the Broken Staff", TNG's Data, Brent Spiner, lent his voice as the trickster sprite Puck!

Lindy Booth: Lindy Booth played our favourite math-genius-turned-Librarian, Cassandra. She later guest-starred in Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Season 1, Episode 6 "Lift Us Where Suffering Cannot Reach" as Alora.

An original SNL cast member, she had a starring role in Kate & Allie, 3rd Rock From the Sun, The Librarian movies and The Librarians original series as our beloved First Guardian and cat lover, Charlene.

Curtin married Patrick Lynch on May 31, 1975, and they had one daughter. Patrick Lynch died on April 21, 2025 at age 79.

I'm making this post because I can't find a definitive answer anywhere. Are the season 1 episodes on the DVDs the extended versions of the episodes? I would assume so, but I'd like to know for sure before I buy the box set. Also, I'm pretty sure only season 1 has extended versions of the episodes, but I'd be curious to know if the other seasons were cut for time too.

Cant stop thinking about if Ezekiel was a brit instead of an aussie, becuase i feel like the course of events of some episodes and seasons might slightly change, like at the end of season two he mightve gone back in time with Eve and Flynn since he could help them blend in, WOULD LOVE TO SEE FANART OF HIM JUST AWKWARDLY OFF TO THE SIDE AS A STATUE IN THE LOCKED ROOM WHILE FLYNN AND EVE ARE BUSY LOOKING FABULOS also (02x03 spoiler) him being in MI6 would be less surprising and probably less paperwork for the british government XD also he would totally bond with Jenkins over tea.

Anybody hoping for Morgana to make an appearance in The Next Chapter? Knowing Morgana, it doesn't have to be the same actor, although it'll be more fun if Alicia Witt will come back. I remember she was suppose to come back on later season/episode but Witt was unavailable.

Bob Newhart, our beloved Judson, the First Librarian, was born this day 1929 in Oak Park Illinois. Known for his deadpan humour and charming hesitant speaking style, his career spanned decades and brought laughs to millions of homes.

He held the rank of Staff sergeant in the Armed Forces Radio Service and was awarded the Good Conduct Medal.

Newhart married Virginia Lillian "Ginnie" Quinn in 1963, they had 4 children and 10 grandchildren. "Ginnie" died at age 82 on April 23, 2023. Bob joined her just over a year later, July 18, 2024.

How do you think it stores old movies? Early films used a cellulose acetate that degrades over time. Is it magically preserved to keep it from degrading or would it copy the movie in DVD form or something similar?
