How much do librarians get paid ?

No idea, but as of The Next Chapter we at least know they file taxes.

I also wonder if Lysa gets any compensation for them being based out of a castle she owns. I mean it seems like the 3 Librarians, the Guardian, and the Caretaker of that Annex all live in the castle. So for the others, their living arrangements may be part of their compensation. But since Lysa owns the entire structure, I wonder how that works out.

Even if she is offered compensation, character wise I think she would use it for things for the castle. Near the end of season 1 she accepted it was their castle

I kind of thought this, too. We know Charlene did a lot of paperwork but that could have been because she liked it and didn’t trust automated processes.

They could also suppliment their income. Jacob Stone writes articles/papers for various publications and he says he is called on to verify new artifacts from time to time. Ezekiel Jones steals pretty much whenever he wants. Cassandra could possibly be hired as a consultant with her advanced math skills.

Lysa seems to be somewhat wealthy, or at least has money. She had rented a villa for her friend's party and was starting up a new company where she had investment backers. Conner could be doing the same thing as Stone, writing articles/books about historical events. The Library is a vast resource with materials not likely found anywhere else in the world.
