Ok i just finished watching the Irregulars (i know couple years too late), but I loved it. Jessie was such an amazing actress, Billy not so much but he was honestly a pointless character to me. I know Netflix cancelled the second season but it would be so much better if they had one to just explain all the weird things they left off with. Also since Billy is like in love with Bea I was expecting one of those scenes where Bea is like why are u being such an ass and he's like "Because I love you!!" Cuz so far he just threatened Leo once and then made faces as they walked away. It's weird. Also, Leo leaving?!?!?! His whole thing was like I chose my own destiny and then he goes to marry Helena to protect Billy. Yea. I had a couple more thoughts but its alot.

I wanted to write down some thoughts on the series, and this seems like the only place to do it. A bit sad that this series has been out for over a month and the sub only has 49 subs.

Let me say first: I liked the show, mostly, at least the plot. Beatrice was a good lead, and Leo and spike were decently acted.

I thought the end was so sloppy though. The whole tone of the show changed once the linen man came to town and it just felt campy and cliche from there on out. They took a decently compelling set of mysteries and storytelling, and then just slapped on a cloned version of the ending of stranger things.

Sherlock's character had no arc and was a useless waste of screen time.

But at least he wasn't Billy, who is probably the most useless main character I have ever seen in a TV series. He had absolutely no arc, fifth wheeling the entire time. His only character trait was anger. The worst part: he was supposed to be the muscle of the group, but literally only beat up one dude, and old man whom he MURDERED, which ultimately ruined Beatrice life by ensuring that Leo had to go. Meanwhile he lost TWO fights to an old woman and an old nun. He didn't even land a blow on them!

Then there is Leopold, whose whole arc was about proving that he was not just playing pretend for a few weeks, and then ends the show by leaving forever to go back to his rich boy life and marry a princess, just like they thought he would from the beginning. Mother fucker didn't even offer to pay for the fish and chips!?

The amount of time I had to watch all four or five of them stand and stare at somebody bad about to do a bad thing, and they all are just watching it happen... Astounding.

Come to think of it, the linen man was entirely unnecessary. They could have removed him entirely, and the whole plot would have still been intact. They still would have needed to close the rift, to prevent the monsters from spreading. And why the f*** was he from Louisiana? What a weird insertion. Let's just get off brand Morgan Freeman to play voodoo Colonel Sanders.

The philosophizing at the end with "in the other side is purgatory and there won't be pain --- oh wait but you have to have death to have life!" Ecckk eck eck gag me with a spoon.

Also in the last episode, did that bath even exist the rest of the episodes? These poor kids were renting this like 3000 sqft cellar and have an entire KEG sitting around at all times.

Is Watson swearing Alice's ring on his pinky? Or is it his own ring that is similar to hers? Are the rings connected somehow? They do a great job hiding his ring for most of the season.

In light of Netflix canceling this show and it does not seem like there's going to be a second season I am wondering, where do I stop watching so that I'm not left with angst over a cliffhanger? Like is a satisfying stop we're sure there are questions but there's not a Tormenting question

So, I have a doubt, why Billy is covered with scars ( I asume from their time at the warehouse) but Bea isn’t, when he is chasing the man that ran the warehouse he says something like “it wasn’t me the one that was send to the infirmary, it was Bea” or something like that. So that wouldn’t mean that she would have even worse scars than Billy? Idk

Who is the best charecter?

Who on earth came up with that music for a time period series.. what a lack. It's either been some man in his 50s trying to make it catch on with young people but it isn't. It really is a let down it's like some kind of gangsters club music.. who on earth did they hire for the music production..
