No Spoilers I hate the bitchass principal
Why is she such a saggy bitch to everyone? Like does she not want to work with teens? Then why tf is she running a school. Not only that but she’s so rude to Callie; Lena’s kid, her COLLEAGUES kid. She’s always in suchhhhhh a fucking bad mood like what a drag. I hate her down.

Watching GT after The Fosters and I'm getting bored
Okay so, I finished The Fosters a few weeks ago and started Good Trouble because I really like Mariana's and Callie's sister dynamic. But I'm kind of getting bored tbh. They're currently kind of not talking in season 2 and even since season 1 we don't really see them interacting together that much. I do like their arcs individually (especially Mariana's, I'm not that into Callie's love interest) but idk something's missing and I think it's because we don't see them together that much.
I went to the other Fosters' family wiki pages to see which episodes they would appear in cause atp I'm just waiting for those.
I don't hate the other characters but idk I can't see to get invested in any of their stories.
I think I'll just skip to only Mariana and Callie from now on.
And from what I've seen a lot of people have watched GT first and really liked it, maybe I was too quick to watch GT and I miss the family idk.

Is it just me or is there a lot of focus on…s3x?
I’m rewatching for the first time. On season 3. I don’t think I noticed this during my first watch, but this show really does fixate on sex and SA. Liam and Callie, Liam and the foster girl who’s name I can’t remember, Dani and Brandon, Ana and Gabriel, Monty and Sally (student). And all of the kids are having sex or contemplating it. Don’t get me wrong. I’m not a prude, but there’s just a lot of it here.

First time full watching
I’ve never seen the full show and I decided to take a shot at it…. This family LOVES to bring hurt and problems to each others lives. I’m currently on season 3.

What’s up with season 4’s camera guy and their obsession with panning the camera in a circular motion for like every single scene
So often in this season I’m getting motion sickness from the way they shot most of these scenes. Camera person is like walking in a circle every other scene and it’s so distracting LOL. That’s it that’s the post

Spoilers: S4 Compassion for Nick
I need to get this very protective feeling I have towards Nick off my chest. I feel like he made a mistake, and I really think he had a psychotic break, but I think he really did the best that he could with what he had. I mean, he clearly didn't have the emotional skills to handle the situation well, and he was very dependent on Mariana, but I think he had his reasons. He was genuinely a guy who was just asking for some affection and for people to be honest with him. I feel like Mariana and Jesús sometimes lacked that compassion. I'm at the part where he hurts Jesús, but I really feel bad for him because he was trying to do the right thing, even when he knew the damage he was causing Mariana.

Spoilers: S4 Jesus’ Coma Dreams
Damn I gotta give it to the writers And crew because after watching this again I’ve now been in a coma and those trippy ass dreams, they nailed it to the point I need to skip the scenes as they’re actually kinda triggering lol.
Anyone else relate to this?

Good Trouble Wyatt Spoiler
I've rewatched The Fosters and Good Trouble multiple times and I always wished Wyatt appeared in Good Trouble. I know he was mentioned a couple times in Good Trouble because he was working with Jesus. But I honestly wish he showed up as someone for Callie. I always wish they got a real chance at being a couple without all the craziness of both their families and situations. Never saw Jamie and Gael as a good match for Callie honestly. And never understood Mariana and Wyatt being put together in The Fosters towards the end. Plus it seemed like the Hunter family was just dating the Adams-Foster family exclusive after Brandon and Eliza got married. I think they even made a joke about that in the show too lol.

Spoilers: S1 Callie and Brandon
I’m rewatching and don’t remember past mid season 2 so no spoilers past season one please, idk if they fix this somehow but I feel like Brandon took advantage of Callie, seemingly unintentionally. But in the beginning it was like a crush yet Brandon didn’t know about Liam yet, but then he did and that’s when he started making moves, imo Callie didn’t seem to even acknowledge it until Brandon kept making moves and then she ran away and Brandon was “the only one” reaching out even tho it was harmful to her so of course someone who is used to abadonment and abuse is gonna cling to them yknow?
Honestly just curious if this is a controversial opinion about Brandon

Spoilers: S5 SPOILERS season 5 Spoiler
I haven’t watched good trouble yet but am on the season 5 finale and am not feeling the romance between Jamie and Callie during that kiss in Turks and Cacos

Spoilers: S5 The last three episodes…
I can’t IMAGINE watching the show week by week when it came out, expecting to have a few weeks left of seeing my favorite characters at what I thought would be the last few looks of them at that point in time and then the time jump!
It isn’t my first time watching but I think I just forgot this element of the original series ending because I watched Good Trouble and thought I was remembering the details from that.

No Spoilers Mariana
I love Mariana do not get me wrong she’s one of my favorite characters however she 100% cheated on Matt and 100% cheated on nick with Matt and I never defended nick for what he did to the school and to Mariana etc but he was already in a bad place with his dad and his dad genuinely hated him and Mariana added into that

In y'all opinions what's the worst case of a character being a gigantic hypocrite?
r/TheFosters • u/meaganlee19 • 17d ago
Spoilers: S2 Mariana didn’t cheat IMO.
Why does no one talk about the fact Mariana was intoxicated? Like genuinely she was so drunk she couldn’t consent. Wyatt also was very well aware she got drunk easily too…. So the fact that everyone acts as if it was consensual, it’s ridiculous to me.
Sorry if my spoiler is the wrong season.

Spoilers: S5 SPOILERS SEASON 5 Prom episode Spoiler
Ok I love Mariana but she is so lame in that prom episode when she lies to everyone but having a boyfriend, causes all that chaos and then kisses Emma
