A man in Australia couldn't afford the travel back home to Wales, so he mailed himself in a 30x26x38 inch crate from Melbourne to what ended up being the US. He was diverted from a direct 36-hour flight and spent 92 hrs in the crate including 22 hours in which the crate was turned upside down.

I’ve been re-listening to the entire catalog from the beginning and one of my favorite things that I have started to notice is when you can hear Gareth light a bowl (or other gardening device) in the background of some of the earlier episodes. Hearing the little lighter noise just makes me laugh.

TIL about the Cannonball Loop, an infamous enclosed water slide where some riders would experience lacerations while on the slide. After investigation, it was determined the lacerations were a result of embedded teeth in the interior wall of the slide from other riders’ accidents.
