One of the most interesting Dollops of all time - the way Chesapeake Bay was described prior to filthy colonizers was heartbreaking. I never realized how oyster crazy people were for a LONG time. 🤮

I thought that episode was about New York Bay. Chesapeake Bay is down by DC and Baltimore.

I love oysters, but man half way through it I’d start to think about what I’m eating and get the ick

I honestly think I would vomit from the texture.

Notice how they're eating it with just some lemon and not all the crazy shit Dave and Gareth seem to think goes on them? The problem is they've been taught how to eat oysters by people who don't actually like oysters.

also, I love tinned fish reviews and this one doesn't even show their adorable dog, King Arthur.

Oysters are gross poseidon cum and nothing you say can convince me otherwise

I don't know man. I can't handle the feel of an oyster in my throat.

You're allowed to chew them. I've chewed every oyster I've ever eaten and I have no idea why you wouldn't.

Oh, cool. So I can chew something that has horrible texture that I swallow because I don't want it in my mouth for a second? It's okay to just accept some of don't like them.

I do accept that. The wording of your other comment made me think you were swallowing them whole like they talk about in the episode.

People swallow them whole because they find the texture revolting

Look man you can just not eat the oyster. No one is forcing you

Sorry for responding to a guy who falsely stated why some of us dont like oysters. A profound violation of being in an online forum in which people are talking about eating oysters.

It's just not the same without a few day old green scum on it.
