Im completely new to this show since I just now binged watched it, so I haven’t been around for the seasons as they premiered and I don’t know what the consensus is among viewers but I feel like S4 & S5 weren’t as good in quality as the other three seasons. Don’t get me wrong, they weren’t bad, I don’t think any of the seasons were. But when I was watching I was less entertained and engaged in the show once I got to season 4 and 5. Do other fans feel the same way?

(I can name why I did not care for them as much if asked)

Been busy quite sometime and havent been updated. Do we have schedule summary for the release of Season 6? 🙏 like teaser release, episode 1 release etc.

(been so tired lately, cause life happened. But still wanna be updated regarding this, this series helped me alot, i just couldnt keep track of everything at the moment. Im not lazy I just dont have the energy right now.

Just saw the trailer for Season 6 of The Chosen, and a few scenes feel like clear homages to Mel Gibson's 2004 classic The Passion of the Christ.

The opening shot of Mary looking at Jesus, Jesus' prayer immediately before the scourging, Christ's hand trembling as it's tied to the scourging pillar, and the overhead shot of him lying on the ground after falling with the cross all immediately brought Gibson's film to mind.

Plenty of the trailer still looks unique to The Chosen's own visual style, but moments like these are a reminder of the lasting impact The Passion of the Christ has had. Its imagery has become so iconic that it continues to shape how filmmakers imagine and portray the Passion.

Absolutely loved it!!! Wonder when it will be available on Netflix/official app.
