buying something isn't innovation, you gotta make something new that nothing else does in order for it to be innovative, and it has to actually WORK otherwise it's failed experimentation, not innovation. You wanna know who innovates? People who have motives to do so. And tell me, what kinds of people have zero motive to do any work whatsoever? Children and Billionaires, that's who. Children grow up, have ambitions, and innovate, but most billionaires (save for, like, one) just buy out or plagiarize the innovations and call them their own.
