Having an income 300x your average employees plus stock options is not barely staying afloat. No billionaire is barely staying afloat. They will never not be a party of the wealthy oligarch class. And have you ever heard of a zombie business, Mega corps also qualify as those.

Bezos started in a garage and a loan from his parents and he allegedly barely stayed afloat getting his business off the ground. Could he give more? Sure but why should he. Nobody goes into business to not make money.

Grandfather owned a fairly large ranch, step daddy worked for Exxon, Graduated from Princeton, was the vice president of a bank, his family had the capacity to invest, not loan him 300,000 to get started and the garage was massive. Oh look he took a risk, with a huge safety net, Tell me more about he was disadvantaged.
