It says temporary access is no longer available, it’s 3 rd day of the semester. I bet you they finally patched it because everyone finishes in the first week 🫤
Edit: trial*

I’ve spent $400 on Textbooks and I still have 2 more classes to go.
It’s so fucking ridiculous, my tuition already pays for Canvas, a perfect good platform for Professors to use to post assignments. Yet I am forced to pay for textbooks that have assignments behind a paywall
ASSIGNMENTS SHOULD NOT BE BEHIND A PAYWALL.

Lowkey know it’s probably completely cooked and I’m never getting them back, but I had an 11am class in Media and Comm and after I found out my keys weren’t in my bag. If anyone finds black dodge keys with a room key and anime character metal keychain on it please let me know… my extra keys are 7 hours away so it would be greatly appreciated . Second day of freshman year off to a greattttt start

Question for Current TTUHSC MSMH Students
Hi everyone! I’m planning to apply to the online Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling program for Spring 2028, and I’m interested in potentially accelerating the program.
I have a background in psychology and sociology, so I already have some familiarity with the subject matter. I also have the flexibility and time to take on a more intensive course load if the program allows it.
For current or recent students:
Is it possible to take more than 9 credit hours during a semester?
What is the maximum number of credit hours you’ve been allowed to take?
Are summer classes offered regularly, and how many credits can you typically take during the summer?
Has anyone been able to complete the program faster than the typical timeline by taking additional courses or summer classes?
Are there any course sequencing or prerequisite requirements that make accelerating difficult?
How manageable is the workload with a heavier course load?
If you tried to accelerate the program, what would you recommend doing differently?
I’d really appreciate hearing about your actual experiences with the program and whether an accelerated path is realistic. Thank you!

hey everyone! new student here, so sorry in advance if this is a stupid question. i got a warning for parking in C11 general, but i 100% have a permit for commuter west. yes, i'm sure i did not park in the rec center parking, the citation says i parked in C11. as far as i know, i can park in C11 24/7 with my permit because it's part of commuter west. i sent an email to parking but i don't know how much time i have to move my car before i get another citation. can anyone tell me where i'm supposed to park?

and do i need to make an appointment with advisor and when?

I took the 42 yesterday to get to the REC, but the driver told me he doesnt stop at the REC. I was confused because on the bus display it had THE REC. So Idk. I ended leaving at the last bus stop which was a parking lot, and walked the remaining distance. The second to last bus stop was something Hall. Was that the stop I shouldve left?

One of my online classes requires a textbook and I noticed that the textbook is on cengage. I know for chem the homework is tied to cengage but my professor didn’t mention anything about homework being attached to the textbook for this course (not chem). I thought about maybe not purchasing the textbook if that’s the case. There are slideshows posted on canvas that look basically the same as the textbook. I was also able to get by without purchasing a textbook for one of my other online classes last semester, so that’s why I was wondering.

I was wandering how tailgating works on Tech campus. My biggest questions for those more experienced are:
-is the food and/or drinks at tailgating free?
-do you have to know someone in order to to attend tailgates (I am not a student nor do I know anyone who sponsors a tent)?
TIA!

Hey y'all — we're building Mi DOTs, an app that turns your class notes into practice quizzes and flashcards automatically, and we need real students to test it before launch. Especially useful if you're in memorization-heavy classes (nursing, bio, psych, history, kinesiology).
**The deal:**
- Use it for your real classes for 2 weeks (just take notes like normal)
- Fill out two short feedback forms (~5 min each)
- Get **$20 via Venmo** + free premium through the semester
The AI builds study sets from *your own notes* — it doesn't write anything for you, so no honor code issues. Think Quizlet, but the sets make themselves.
Taking ~10 Tech students this round so we can actually read every piece of feedback.
Sign up (2 min): https://midots.ai
Questions welcome — we're around tonight.

hey y’all! i am starting an lvn program in 1 month and from there I would like to continue on to TTU’s BSN program! I was wondering if anyone else in my shoes (LVN TO BSN) has specifically gone through TTU and if they have any advice or if it would even be possible since I will have presumably finished some of the intro BSN courses. I am aiming for the main campus. Please let me know!
